Sufism is prominent in Afghanistan, there are shrines in almost every major Pashtun inhabited part of Afghanistan whether it is Qandahar, Ghazni, Jalalabad, Kunarh, Herat. There are sufi brotherhoods everywhere. That Sufi Lineages are widely established in Afghanistan for hundreds of years.
