I told you - that's his definition of "logical." I'm supposed to accept it!

Why apologize? Don't! People who accept that "logic" should be the ones apologizing to themselves for wronging their minds.

Edit: Ohhh! Got it! lol. Yeah, I know! I now laugh at myself for having been accepting of his version of Islam. But, hey, we're humans, so we learn and grow and grow and learn. Of course, had it not been for his double standards, I would never have learn to challenge him/his views or anyone else. So he REALLY taught me a lot :D And I'm a better person (you know, more tolerant and peace-loving) than I was before because of what Zakir Naik preaches, because of what he used to try to convince me of.

You should be thankful that UK and other Western countries are allowing you some liberty. If you were a Shia or for that matter a follower of a sect other than those in effect in Saudi Arabia or Iran, you would have been roasted alive.

This is strange logic. Because certain Muslim countries call themselves Muslim, they, therefore, have the right to ban followers or preachers of other religions whereas certain Western countries by virtue of being secular are obliged to allow limitless freedom to Islamist hate-mongerers and fascists. This is moral prostitution in plain. And only some Muslims have the audicity to resort to such ignobility.

UK and other Western countries are secular. And it is the duty of the citizens of these countries to co-exist peacefully and with religious harmony. The cornerstone of secularism is, every one should be allowed religious freedom but at same time no follower or preacher of a religion should be allowed to incite religious hatred and intolerance. This is how a civilzed society can come into existance and evolve unlike the barbaric Muslim societies still emmersed in medeivalism.

U.K on the other end is always shouting EQUALITY, FREEDOM! HUMAN RIGHTS, Yet they are scared and nervous cause this Islamic scholar who is responsible of the conversions of thousands might convert some more?

You don't see something wrong with that, consider its secularism?
I am living in a Western country and believe me, from my discussion with non-Muslims, including Chinese, Africans, etc., I have found that there is little fondness of Islam in followers of other religions or non-religious ideologies and most of the people consider Islam to be a dangerous religion thanks the hateful preaching of people like Dr. Zakir Naik. It is very unfortunate that such people have brought a bad name to Islam and Muslims.

And Moslems cannot play the 'What about the freedom of expression?' card here either. In almost all Moslem countries, ex-Moslems or even liberal Moslems don't have a genuine voice. In Pakistan, Ahmadis cannot even call themselves 'Moslems' or even 'act like Moslems' and cannot 'call their places of worship Mosques', and all this constitutionally and legally adopted by the state. This is suppression and religious prosecution in it's most extreme form. Fauzia Wahab, the PPP Spokesperson, was severely scrutinized in the media recently for saying her thoughts out loud about Quran and the constitution. I have seen this Zakir Naik guy himself refusing to allow the preaching of other religions in Moslem states. He justified it by some 2+2=4 argument. We have seen how Moslems reacted to the Freedom of Speech issue in the Netherlands and the response to the right of free speech of Salman Rushdie and Gert Walders.
Dr Israr of the Tehreek e Islami Pakistan was also recently removed from this world by the grace of Gods. He will be finding out the truth about Vrigins and Wines of the Paradise at about this time. He was another hate monger and a conspiracy theory specialist.
Zakir Naik and others of the same root who seek to Islamify democratic and secular societies in Europe should be banned.
He is not irrational or hate-monger, he speaks with logic. He doesnt spread hate for Hinduism, Christianity or Judiasm, he compares them with Islam. He is present Islam as a peacful religion, athiests like you and UK should appreciate him for this.

Frankly speaking that logic is exellent and speaks of his logical mind.

I stand by a stance I presented about 2 years ago: Intelligent people do not listen to Zakir Naik to enhance their understanding of Islam. The guy lacks reason, thought, and intelligence -- big time. I'm not at all surprised that most people listen to him and find him "amazing" -- and even see him as a scholar. Neither am I surprised that many Muslims are the way they are today, when we have folks like Zakir Naik being the custodians of Islamic knowledge and "understanding."
I read your above paragraph again and again and i must say that you are behaviour is like that of a unknown person being jealous from a famous and recognized person.

Can you present and defend your thoughts in the media? i mean can you face the media? are you sure that nervousness will not overwhelmed you when you will face the camera? Are you sure that your logical mind will not evaporate when sudden un-expected questions will be asked from you?

I am against the idea of Qrratugai appearing on camera. It is against the laws of purdah. If any man sees her or hears her voice, the Shaoytaun (Arabic accent pronunciation) will assist him in giving in to the desires of the heart.... Furthermore, lowering one's gaze is difficult when watching a video....

Argh so unfair that I don't have enough time to respond to everything, but anyways..

Zakir Naik a hate monger.. come on!!! He openly invites others to debate with him, he takes on world renound scholars of other religions (*and* drops them), and most importantly he encourages debate over violence. He's most definitely taking the right approach, you don't need to love him to understand that. His whole daw3a approach has been incredibly successful, Alhamdolilah, he's also the one who persuaded the Ay-rabs, in the UAE, to start the successful boycott of Denmark.

He even promotes the idea of learning about other religions, and I personally haven't heard him openly mock other religions; he shows respect.

MashAllah, he's done a lot for the Muslim community, it's very easy to sit here a ridicule him, though I notice those who have are mainly non-Muslims, so it's easy to see how Naik can be seen as a threat.

The dude's been here in Britain before, he's hardly a threat to security, Theresa May's new to the job, this is just so the Tories can pretend they're acting in Britain's best interests and fighting against 'terrorism'.

Only hypocrites and people with diseases in their hearts will be happy with this ban. the only reason why they have banned him is because he speaks the true and preached the one and only true version of Islam. And the real Islam is on the rise in the west, it is the fastest growing religion in the world and in the west. They think they can stop the spreading of the real Islam by banning people and stopping muslims from using their right of free speech. This shows the double standards of the west, they are even putting aside their so called "democratic values" aside, to stop Islam.
I am proud of people like Zakir Naik, look how honest he is, he says Islam is intolerant against all the bad things in society, intolerant against the evil of society. Every muslim should be intolerant of those things. Also a muslim should be a fundamentalist, he should know, practive and follow the fundamentals of his religion, otherwise they will be like some people on this forum, who call themselves muslim, but follow only bits and peaces of the Quran and hadiths. He also said that every muslim should be a terrorist, terrorise the enemies of Islam and humanity. Every muslim should terrorise the unbelievers that are at war with Islam and muslims and anti-social elements in the society. I am proud of people like him who have the courage to spread the true message of Islam and not the watered-down, civic, democratic, liberal, secular, western Islam.

Effectively the UK is secular - but to a point.

I'm not going to mince words. Princess Diana is dead, killed off in 1997. The woman once tipped to be Queen and Queen Mother to Prince William. Her last two consorts were Muslim men, one of whom was a Pashtoon. The British establishment, it has long been reported were not happy with this since it would have meant that a future King of England and Guardian of the Church of England, could well have had a mother married to a Muslim.

Since 1701, (a very long time ago) it has been illegal in Britain for a non-Anglican to be the ruling monarch, i.e. you can't be King and Catholic and being a King and Muslim is a very long shot. Secularism in the UK, is therefore, an assumption that isn't necessarily true since there are many instances where it actually does not exist. Christmas is a public holiday, as is Easter. Eid is not.

As for Zakir Naik - well, security has nothing to do with it. Theresa May, the home secretary's reason is flawed. It's a political stunt that preys on fear, and what she is doing in fact is courting popular sentiment that is anti-Muslim in the "hit the panic button" kind of way.

                        Agreed!

It seems the rumors of the shift of the UK towards a Nationalistic Supremacist Right is very credible.

Talk about Fairness!!!! the Muslims there should use this shift rumors to their own ends at every forum and level.

Dr Zakir Naik is a good muslim scholar but his some speaches are unacceptable in the present international scenario. Why we expect that Zakir Naik will receive flowers from those where he is throwing stones.
He should change his behavior. We accept that Islam is the best religion, therefore we are Muslims, but we have no right to abuse someone else religion or belief and then especially looking at the present day terrorism scenario and saying that he will suport bin Laden agains Bush. I am against Bush but same time also against Bin Laden or Mullah Omer or any other terorist.
So Zakir Naik should change his behavior.
