i'm not defending anyone. i am pointing out, that there was said to be osama bin laden and al qaeda in afghanistan, that were said to have planned attacks and actually attacked america.
i do not know what the full truth is, will we ever, but do you deny that obl was in afghanistan and had training camps there?
do you think america would just stand by and allow these training camps to continue?
do you consider having training camps for jihad against the western world an intelligent thing to do, as a governing body of afghanistan?

I know what your saying, America prior to all this al-qaeda nonsence has attacked Muslims, some see the minor attacks and plots against america as retaliation for the major atrocities that have been committed by america, anyhow, its like Afghanistan, Iran etc having a problem with an American training camp in Europe (why should they allow them to work together and continue) why is it 1 rule for the people fighting Muslims but another rule for the Muslims fighting back and working together? whats it got to do with America when they have bases in positions all over the world, what gives them the right to say so and so should have an army and other cannot. So "training camps for jihad against the western world" can also be translated as "a army for the safety of the country trained to fight back and retaliate against the invasions of the western world" no?.. you think the people of Iraq, Afghanistan should stay untrained and unarmed when millions of them have been killed mercilessly? i see it as a Jihad or a crusade of the western world against the Muslims/brown people rather than a retaliation to a Jihad by the Muslims against the west. This is the stark differences in thinking between a western minded individual as yourself, you just cant comprehend equality that the East should have.

the afghan people were already fighting before america and nato went there. that is why the airlift occured from kunduz, of the pakistanis who were fighting alongside the taliban. (according to what i have been reading)

of course, i m not a 'man in the know' like 2010, who has obviously been 'on the ground' and has 'the only truth' and 'inside information', due to the fact that he is a soldier who has been fighting in afghanistan for many years.

There is not going to be proof because it didnt go down any other route, just look into the plans America has had in the 90's through its movements, it was inevitable that they would eventually go for Afghanistan.

had the result of the civil war ended in the favor of a quarter of afghanistan's population, we would still have ended with much more than we have in our plates at the moment. it was osama who turned afghanistan in to a playground by separating afghans by those two ideologies and training his own army to turn against the other half until america stepped in. even now, eleven years later aren't we separating ourselves from each other on the basis of which one of those two teams we choose to put more faith in the hands of when it comes to a better future for afghanistan? if we are not with taliban then we must be with amercia and vice versa. we are and have been traitors to each other for the last 11 years and will continue on being so for a very very long time.
afghanistan is no longer unconquerable. afghans are too busy fighting each other to be bothered with the rest of the world.

He did so many bad bad things against international law. Amreeka had to do invasion to get him. THeir goal was to unite world into orderly place. People would have education, freedom to choose, and all of these things. He and Saddam were against these things and they both challenged and wanted chaos all over earth. HE should have built airport, universities in Afghanistan if he was friend. Now real friend Amreeka is doing roads, universities, and making investments. People are coming to heart of US to study engineer degree and come back and be rich here. Dazahrojaam is right about divisioning us. He told Sayyaf and Rabbani that he wrecked sudan and wanted wreck more countries. Then came to Afgahnistan but now America helped again to save AFghanistan.
