Pakistan summons Afghan envoy to protest against attacks

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan lodged a protest with the Afghan government on Saturday over attacks from Kunar and Nooristan on seven Pakistani check posts in Chitral earlier on Saturday in which 25 security personnel were slain. The Afghan Charge d’Affairs was called in at the Foreign Ministry and a protest was lodged through him over the attacks and the necessity of establishing peace and tranquility in the border region and effectively dealing with terrorists was conveyed to him, a foreign office statement issued on Saturday said. The statement added that it was Pakistan’s expectation that ISAF and the Afghan National Army would take effective measures to prevent such incursions by terrorists from safe havens across the border in Kunar and Nooristan and would enhance border security. app

^ If the numbers named are indeed the numbers killed then this is a big, big news and I am utterly surprised why it isn't mentioned on TV? Could it be another lie? Or are those who lost their lives not worth at least few seconds of air-time? :S

seems like the ttp. if i am not mistaken, they had recently reached a deal with the tribes on the paki side of the border for movement in the territory.

its not the afghan taliban because their fight is not with the paki military, nor is it the armed tribes in afg at the behest of the US because no one rushes into their deaths for money.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Shayesta Khorai this was all over the TV day before yesterday but as Dinasour Khan mentioned that yesterday at 3pm Zulfiqar Mirza fromer Interior Minister/Senior Minister conducted a press conference with some serious allegations against Altaf Hussain/MQM and Rehman Malik the Interior Minister, so this news is wiped out from the TV.

a newspaper said that the organizers of these attacks were paki pashtuns. i think they only used afghan soil to attack them. no afghans were involved i think. why would afghan taliban attack paki soldiers?
