They are said to have been promoted by Zia ul Haq to counter the then very strong Sindhi nationalism.

Fundamentally, "Muhajir" (Hindustani) nationalism is useless, as they can never create a separate Hindustani state (Jinnahpur) in multi-ethnic Karachi, and this realization is made all the more stronger by the resistance of Pakhtoons to Altaf Hussain and his ideology of Hindustani supremacism.

We defeated these Hindustanis (Biharis) in 1971, after they had been involved in discriminating against us and abusing us for decades.

The original Pakistan project in the eyes of Hindustani nationalists such as Jinnah and Liquat Ali Khan (who got into parliament by using a Bengali seat and Bengali voters, the same Bengalis who he then started institutional discrimination and racism against) was for a state controlled by Hindustanis as the ruling elite.

This ultimately fell apart when Hindko military dictator Ayub Khan took power and transferred power to the Punjabi dominated military.

2. Defeated in East Pakistan, where they sought domination, by Bengali freedom fighters.

3. They will be defeated in, South Pakistan, Karachi, where they sought/seek domination, by the ANP.

Having said that however the misuse of Islamic rhetoric (if proven true, I don't believe anything the MQM says as they are outright liars) to call for a war against a Muslim ethnic group is completely unacceptable. They fail to realize they can never create a Hindustani Israel or Hindustani Reich in Karachi, i.e. a "Jinnahpur".

If they realized their wet dreams and killed 100 "Pathans", every day for the next 10 days without stopping for a single week, they would end up killing around 365,000, that would mean:

36,500 dead "Pathans" a year.

365,000 dead "Pathans" after 10 years.

There would however be, very inconveniently for the MQM, the not so small number of 6.65 milllion Pakhtuns still left in Karachi (not including the birth rate and possible continued immigration from FATA, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan).

What these Hindustani Nazis need to realize is that they will never succeed with their ideology of domination and enforced Urduization, they tried in East Pakistan and got defeated and humiliated.

What the racist MQM must learn is that Karachi is for all Muslims and that the language and culture of Sindhis, Pashtuns, Bengalis and Balochis has as equal validity as the culture of these Hindustani sons of the Ganges from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and the barren desert of Rajasthan.

We Bengalis taught these traitors a painful lesson in 1971, it looks like our brothers in the ANP are going to follow in our footsteps.

One a side note, I am against the word muhajir. Firstly it is a stupid world,espeically for people who have been in pakistan since 1947. Second, It lumps every one from india in to single people, which is stupid. A person from Delhi is not similar to a person from Bihar/Bengal or South India. The only similarity is that they came from Hindustan. I can bet you you will hardly find any person orginally from Delhi in MQM. People of Delhi easily settled in pakistan with ease because even before the partition, Lahore nd Delhi were almost like identical cities with very similar cultures.

MQM is mostly made of Biharies or other people from places like Hyderabad India and most of these people came to pakistan in 1960 and 70's, well after pakistan was made.

WASHINGTON: A cell phone used by Osama bin Laden’s courier appears to show that he was aided by the Harkatul Mujahideen (HuM) militant outfit, The New York Times said on Thursday.

Sure Zia might have propped up MQM to counter PPP in sindh but ISI no longer supports them.The goal of MQM is to create a separate jinnahpur for mohajirs through division of sindh.
Is ISI in favour of division of pakistan and creation of jinnahpur?
