People are i think compromising unwillingly. They have no option because the main pukhtun party is the right hand of the army. You stand up today and you get killed tomorrow so nobody is ready to take that risk because either he is called a terrorist or a traitor.
The media and NGOs are active so everyone is just in his own job.

And when taliban showed their strict side, then you cried for pak army to help and when pak army took actions, now you people are complaining of pak army. In swat taliban had been pressurising people for two years and still people were that good and for pir samiullah fought taliban for ten days and army assured him that they will give you weapons and all supports but when he was trapped then dirty army did not come to help him and he was killed.
but who fought in buner and for how long.... the people of buner never opened their mouths then after seeing the real face of taliban...

Takrra People of buner did'nt surrunder to encroachment of talibans, they fought with them even though they were not strong for swati talibans.
It is clear to the whole world that initially swatis gave full support to talibans, women of your area sold their zar for supporting mullah radio. Because of weak pashtun tribal structure, you people were not even able to raise any lashkar against talibans when you people wanted to. Personally i find swatis very nice and pleasant people but frankely speaking they are not intimadating like typical pashtuns e.g wazirs

I am not a frequent visitor of the forums but today couldn't resist writing here.
@ emKhan .. I don't know how can you ignore and reject the fact that in the beginning Swatyan FULLLY SUPPORTED taliban, they supported the Mullah Radio, they worked without demanding any salary to build their Madrassahs and later on, did whatever they were asked to do, they butchered their own men like chicken and mekhay. yes, truly the zar given by Swati women couldn't be enough to support the local Taliban and the fake army talibans and of course ISI and Army had their own fundings BUT you cannot say we didn't support them. WE made them the monsters they were, WE raised them in our own houses. their is no denying that fact.
I remember once a woman said to me, "whenever you have money, send them for Jihad to the talibans, if you don't know how to, give it to me and I'll make sure it reaches them. " and it's shameful but my very very very close illiterate jahil type of relative used to guard Fazlullah at night. funny thing, he walks free today. I won't mind cutting his head off his body. emkhan there are hundereds and thousands of Swatyan not from ISI and not from the Army who became Taliban in the name of Islam but the really purpose was money that was given to them by their leaders (which for sure came from ISI fundings) and for the fact that when they became taliban even the strong, influential KHANANS used to fear them and they loved and enjoyed that power.

YES, Army is involved in many many crimes and the whole world is now aware of it but I'm not sure of the robbery mentioned in the first post.

Still swatains are more pakipied then all other pashtuns of pashtunkhwa.They love pakistan more then anyone and the green white flags of pakistan flying high on every swati house.Most pashtuns of pashtunkhwa never celebrate 14th august/pak day but swatains love it and celebrate it.
I was in Mingora few months ago and discussing with local swatains what happen to them during ,,isi,,drama in their land.All of them were scared to talk even but many of them know that it was ISI ,s game.
One of them told that the talibans even run Brothels in many parts of swat.One ,,,mashar ,,,in sohrab chok said that i feel sorry for the army men cus they stay in the sun all day thats made me realy upset and said to that ,,mashar,,do,nt you feel sorry for the poor swatains suffer under the hands of these punjabi sodliers?
He was a bet ashamed and said nothing.
In a shop i paid money for cold drink the owner return me the money and said do,nt pay when i asked why is that? he said ,are you not under cover army officer or something?i laugh and said kakajana do,nt worry i hate these paki soldiers as mcuh as you people love the fake identity of pakistan.
That was the main reason ISI play its dirty game in swat.
The people of swat are peaceful and they never supported these thugs/isi talibs.

i heard the same stories that women gave the ISI/TAlibs zar in swat but found many swatis never like the talibs.It was their jahelait to do so.
I agree that swatis did not fire a single bullet against talibs very strange and buzdili.
The buneris on the other side fought against them but the pro punjabi govt of pashtunkhwa did,nt support them.The govt in fact ordered the people to let the ISI/talbs in into their land.It was all army bastereds drama to kill pashtuns for dollars.
