About Pashtuns, though, the principles could be well used by corporations to instill good values in their employees.

Couldn't you imagine executives required to attend seminars on this subject ?!

I think overall, a good dose of Pashtunwali Education is JUST what America
needs at the moment !

lolz it would be great but i doubt corporations would want their employees to engage in 'badal' episodes or the females be completely covered, the men wear pagray and beards, etc.

on another note, catya khorai, i think i have an inner tunisian and egyptian within me seeing as how i too am critical of current day leadership systems.

OK, agree about that Badal would not fit into corporate life in America at the present time.
However!
Think about melmastia.
Were even the CEO's to offer shin chai with cardamom the way they make it in Afgh/PK, EVERY customer would be so delighted that he or she would immediately sign a deal without quibbling.
Headaches would go away literally and figuratively, bec. as we all know, green tea alleviates minor ailments.
Coffee on the other hand, exacerbates headaches, etc.
So a revolution in Corporate Courtesy would result, sweeping the nation.
Soon, other countries would imitate the model.
To the tip of Tierra del Fuego,
lovely cardamom-spiced tea would be served in boardroom meetings, to clients et al.
The mood would be so much enhanced by the civllized air which meetings had [finally] acquired that all that "rat-race" mentality and the attendant stress on all participants would be alleviated.
People would go home happy, not scream at their families, domestic harmony would prevail...
I see just that one small element right there as the linchpin of
The New Horizon in business etiquette.
Then think about the ethic of standing up and fighting fiercely when unfair things are perpetrated.
There is a whole nation of people in the U.S. who know something is wrong in general with the country, but don't have the energy to speak out to try to change things.
The Inner Pashtun model is Proactive, never passive.
Ramifications of this new mentality would get rid of bad systems and programs here , not just Tunisia etc.

lolz , what a wonderful post. i whole-heartedly agree with you. that sounds like a good idea in fact; having everyone follow pakhtunwali. if we had a global empire, it would occur.

Yes I think the instituation of Global Pashtunwali would be KEY to improving the lot of the world!
Just think women would never be in the situation they are in the West and among all imitators of the Western nations.
They would be protected and defended as they should be.
Looking back in history, let's say for example that
The Trojan War would not have occurred, ruining many lives in a wasteful struggle.
For Helen, Queen of the Greek city-state of Sparta, could not have run off with Paris, the Prince of Troy, under Pashtunwali !

Hence there would have been no need for the Greek armies to sail to the Turkish coast and spend an entire decade besieging Troy in order to finally bring her back.

So the benefits of Universal Pashtunwali are incalculable, past, present, and future !
