Problem with Islam?

Iv noticed quite a few members of the PF constantly badmouthing Islam. To make it worse people dont even bother to respond to what they say which, in some case (damn right stupid posts) its understandable, but in others it seems as though theres a lack of interest or education even. So to benefit me and other muslims of PF i would like to use this post for us to answer these blasphemy about our religion.

Also i believe it will help clear up the spamming that is happening on various threads which is annoying as we have a good read then out of the blue some idiot writes some negative post about Islam which ruins the whole thread as the whole topic has changed. Thanks

You should have a heart for genuine questions about Islam...Others cannot accept Islam as blindly as some Muslims can...

Hardly anyone cares at all.

I am beginning to think that Islam is not really a part of the lives of many of the people here.

I'm glad you were showing interest in the Islamic threads earlier.

I think Maiwand who is great may have slowed down due to either arrival of a certain personage or otherwise busy.

You can go back and read all the older ones, though. He has excellent videos posted from maybe September to November in the Religion section mostly.

I'm very glad you spoke up - don't think being a new member you have to be careful of people's feelings.

Just ignore those that continue to mock Islam. You have an ignore list that you can use. I think it is considered haraam to even engage with such people.

They just engage one to get "the light" of their attention.

In such examples, therefore, we don't want to have any contact with such offensive parties. It really IS deleterious in every way.

You know I seriously wish there was a block function where you would not have to read the posts of repeated offenders!!!

I end up speaking to walls with them. I can handle debate and criticism, but I can not handle Islam being mocked in the name of questioning Islam.

Its one thing to just ask curious questions, but quite another to say that Islam is an Arab thought that Pashtuns and other Muslims should abandon.

I know I was wrong to call people pimps, but which one is worse??? Mocking religion, or that??


I have to try the ignore list. I think it blocks you from seeing persons posts.

There are many who I can engage with respectfully, but there are those few. And there is this new person who you know that spreads all sorts of propaganda against Islam.

I just point out that there needs to be more mutual respect in these forums.

And come on if we can respect Judaism and Christianity, then why not Islam??
