Dude come on, quit being a hater.......he said his view on it, and he is fully entitled to it....So what if he does not like Zakir Naik or not, hell, half the time i cannot understand him....Dont be rude and stop disrespecting someone who showed you otherwise. He never said anything wrong or offensive to you, so dont be immature about it. You act like Zakir Naik is the prophet or something, jeez. And you are so uptight about being 100% pashtun and this and that, but you have a problem with someone who respects and follows Pashtunwali, does not make much sense to me. And no, Pir Rokhan is not an idiot. A person is not idiot if he has different views and knows how to support it. An idiot is the one who says immature things and acts in an immature way...clearly you do not know who the idiot is.

          @ King Zazai:
No, wror jaana. I was not kidding at all. As you can see in my other posts regarding Zakir Naik, I have given reasons for why I disagree with him. (Those posts can be found in the thread Zakir Naik on Sania Mirza; the thread Will non-Muslims go to heaven;and this thread, in which my posts are posted in the beginning as comments to Naik's video.

The brother above (Pir Rokhan) who also expressed strong disagreement Naik gave some great reasons. Can you negate them? Anyone who listens to Zakir Naik and considers him a scholar will *not* be able to refute Pir Rokhan's comments. And he wrote:

Anyway, I do not need to do tobah because I have done nothing wrong. If I were to repent, this is something I woudln't at ALL repent for. What, repent for having said Zakir Naik doesn't make sense in ANY of his videos, or at lesat 98% of them? Just because I don't think highly of him and, in fact, think that anyone who has the power to think, see, and hear will just look at this man and go, "My God, I'm sorry for our Muslim brothers and sisters who listen to him so zealously!"

Also, I do not *hate" Zakir Naik, lol. I have no business to hate or love him. I'm absolutely indifferent towards him and his teachings, and since you feel sorry for ME for not seeing what I can't "appreciate" about him (OMG, I can't believe Muslims today have come to a level in which they consider people like *Zakir Naik* scholars :S), consider the feeling mutual

It's interesting how you and I define "dumb" and "intelligent" so differently. You see, I wait for ONE intelligent human to convert to Islam because of Naik. I wait to meet ONE Intelligent Muslim who agrees with anything Zakir Naik says or listens to his videos to learn from him, or is a fan Zakir Naik's. I haven't met any yet, but I will wait.

You should never be sorry when you want to make a point to anyone.
What does this have to do with Pashtunwali? Is Zakir Naik the ONLY "scholar" we have out there? You do know that academic scholars of Islam listen to Naik only for amusement, right? Yeah. Just thought I'd let you know this guy isn't EVERYONE's favorite. In fact, he's barely anyone's favorite -- only a certain group of Muslims adore him.

            King Zazai,
Respected graan wrora, Lets keep this civil and as professional as possible. If you disagree, simply state why, calling someone "Dumb and etc" does not help, I know you are better as compared to that.

            I hope you understand, Manana.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

The way you talk says A LOT about you *and* about Pukhtuns. I wish it didn't, but it does. People who read your post will completely ignore the positive language so many of us try to use on our Pukhtun forum and refer to YOURS and say, "See, see, see?? I TOLD You Pukhtuns are this kind of people!" So please bear in mind that when one Pukhtun makes a mistake or uses bad language, the whole world accuses all Pukhtuns for it. And I would absolutely HATE to be associated with ANYONE who doens't know how to debate or hold a healthy discussion but uses personal language as his ONLY weapon -- and you fail at it, too, because it makes me sit here and go, "tsk, tsk, tsk. God, please help this kid here. He really needs you right now."

You know, Zazai wrora, you don't seem to worship *God*, the Creator; you seem to worship Zakir Naik. I say this, and the answer lies in your posts. If you worshiped and followed God, your tone would be far more positive; it wouldn't contain insults and abuses, and you'd be more secure about your faith and woudln't be intimidated by the mere notion of someone disagreeing with you.

I try not to bother with people who lack knowledge the way you do, but you're the first case we've had on this forum to humiliate, dishonor, and disrespect yourself, your family, Pukhtuns, and hence Muslims SO much that I thought I should remind you that *actual humans* are reading what you're writing here, so please try to be a bit more careful in how you present your views.

I do not ask for respect (I don't need the respect of anyone who can't handle a disagreement), but you have no right to disrespect anyone either. Otherwise, expect nothing better in return from those whom you disrespect this way. Remember that you're only ruining your own mind, not anyone else's, with your insecurities, as shown in your personal abuses and threats. I mean, SERIOUSLY?! You expect someone to say what you want them to say and like whom you WANT them to like JUST so you don't go to their house and beat them up? LOL. C'mon, bro, that's too childish and immature, and I was thinking that we have a more mature crowd here, man.

Peace! And don't expect me to waste a milli-second more of my time reading or replying to your posts if you keep your horrid language as your best friend and supporter and ignore all specks of reason accidentally blow your way. If you can't reply with reasons to negate what we're saying, don't bother replying it all; it makes your already-vacuous messages even more pointless and less worth a thought.

Re: which Islam sect to be followed

We are quick to find fault in others. Especially people who have such a passion for their culture and their people. Imagine a Pukhtun Zakir Naik, one who sets up a school in Afghanistan, one who holds conventions without pay, one who would go about his way to teach an Islam that many of us are not aware of, one who would leave his usual doctrate and dedicate his time for the people, one who makes us proud to be who we are. I doubt we would be so critical of every little thing he says or does. It's not time to "be proud of ONLY ourselves and OUR achievements," but to accept others achievements as well. How much longer will we be these stubborn, stuck-up, people who can not admit that atleast someone is doing something for his people. We may not have role models of our own right now just yet, but who said we can not applaud the acheivements of others and use it for our own acheivements?

"There are three kinds of intelligence: one kind understands things for itself, the other appreciates what others can understand, the third understands neither for itself nor through others. This first kind is excellent, the second good, and the third kind useless."
                    - Niccolo Machiavelli

Don't push the people to the third kind.
