But that is not what is written in the Quran. It is bi fatah taa'. Also, Hadhrat Ali (ra) told Abi Abdur Rahman Assalamiyye (ra) to teach Hasan and Hussein khatamun nabiyyen bi fatah taa': iqraahumaa wa khatamun nabiyyeen bi fatah taa'.

وقوله تعالى:﴿ الْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَى أَفْوَاهِهِمْ ﴾(يس:65). أي: نمنعهم من الكلام. والختم على الأفواه، والقلوب قريب معناه من القَفْل. والخَاتَم والخَاتِمُ: من أسماء النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وسمِّي بذلك لأن الله تعالى ختم به الأنبياء والرسل، وتمَّمَهم به، بحيث لا يأتي بعده نبيٌّ، ولا يبعث ممَّن قبله نبيٌّ؛ كما يختم بالطين على الجرَّة، بحيث لا يدخل فيها شيء، ولا يخرج منها شيء، فليُتأمَّل ! ويدل على ذلك قراءة ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه:{ ولَكِنْ نَبِيًّا خَتَمَ النَّبَيِّينَ }.

بقي أن نعلم أن الخَتْمَ على الشيء لا يزول أبدًا إلا بأمر من الله تعالى؛ لأنه هو واضع الخَتْم سبحانه وتعالى. فليس للإنسان يدٌ في فضِّه، أو إزالته، خلافًا لمن يدَّعي ذلك؛ ولهذا ذكرت في مقالي السابق أن الخَتْمَ على القلوب يمنع من الإيمان منعًا تامًّا، بخلاف الطَّبْع؛ ولهذا أيضًا قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في الحديث السابق:«وخُتِمَ بي النبيُّون»، بالبناء للمجهول، فلا يُبعَث بعده نبيٌّ، ولا رسولٌ. ويؤيد ذلك ما أخرجه عبد بن حُمَيْدٍ عن الحسن- رضي الله عنه- في قوله تعالى:?خَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ?، قال:”ختم الله النبيين بمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ، وكان آخَر من بُعِثَ “.وقال البيهقي في(شعب الإيمان ):”والخاتم: الذي لا نبي بعده؛ كما ليس بعد خاتمة الأمر منه شيءٌ، وليس بعد ختْم الكتاب نشرٌ، وليس بعد ختْم الكيس إخراجُ شيء منه “.

فجاء قوله عليه الصلاة والسلام:«إلا أنهلا نبيَّ بعدي »مفسِّرًا لقول الله تعالى:? خَاتَم النَّبِيِّينَ ?. وهذا ما اعترف به المدَّعي النبوة غلام أحمد القادياني، وأقرَّه في تأليفه( عمامة البشر )، فقال بعد أن ذكر قوله تعالى:?وَلَكِنْ رَسُولَالله وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ?، قال:”وفسَّره نبيُّنا صلى الله عليه وسلم في قوله:«لا نبيَّ بعدي»“. وقال في كتاب( البرية ):”كان الحديث:«لا نبيَّ بعدي»مَعروفًا، مُنتشِرًا بين الناس إلى حدٍّ، لا يمكن أن يشك في صحته أحدٌ “.
فهو يعترف بأن النبي محمدًا صلى الله عليه هو نبيُّه، وأن قوله:«لا نبيَّ بعدي» جاء مفسِّرًا لقوله تعالى:?وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ?، وأنه معروف، ومنتشر بين الناس إلى حدٍّ، لا يمكن أن يشك في صحته أحدٌ.
فالمشكلة- إذًا- عند القادياني المتنبي أحمد غلام ليست في صحة الحديث، وعدم صحته، وإن اسشتهد على صحة ادِّعائه النُّبُوَّة بأحاديث ضعيفة، وموضوعة؛ وإنما المشكلة عنده هي أن الآخرين لم يفهموا الحقيقةَ، والسرَّ الكامنَ في مفهوم خَتْم النُّبُوَّة لـ{ خَاتَم النبيينَ }؛ كما فهمه هو. ولم يفهموا البَعْدِيَّة، المنصوص عليها في الحديث الشريف؛ كما فهمها هو وأتباعه.
أما عن مفهوم { خَتْم النُّبُوَّة }فقد أعلن حضرته أنهم يؤمنون بكون النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم { خاتم النبيين }بالبصيرة التامة، التي يعلمها الله.ويؤكِّد بأن الله تعالى كشفعليهم حقيقة{ خَتْمِ النُّبُوَّةِ }، بحيث يجدون من شراب المعرفة، الذي سُقُوا إياه، لذةً لا يتصوَّرها أحدٌ، إلا الذين سُقُوا من ذلك النبع.
ويعترف أتباعه أيضًا بأن الفعل{ ختم }،في اللغة، يعني: أنهى وأغلق؛ كما يعني أيضًا: طبع. أما { خاتَم }، أو{ خاتِم }في اللغة، فتعني: ما يوضع في الإصبع للزينة. وما يستخدم للختم أو التصديق، أو ما يستعمل للختم أو الإغلاق.
إنهم يعترفون بذلك؛ ولكنهم يقولون:”وإذا أضيف{ خاتَم }،أو{ خاتِم }،أو{ خاتِمة}إلى جمع العقلاء، فلا يكون معناه إلا الأفضل والأكمل، الذي جاء بما لم يأتِ، ولن يأتي أحد من قبله، أو من بعده بمثله. كذلك تعني مَنْ جَمَع أفضل ما كان للسابقين من أعمال وآثار ومحاسن، ومن ثمَّ صاغها في أزين صورة، ثم ترك أثره وطابعه فيمن جاء بعده. وبهذا يكون قد وصل الكمال فيما نُسِبَ إليه، بحيث لا يصل إلى مرتبته أحد ممَّن كان قبله، أو ممَّن جاء بعده “.
وبناء على ما سبق فإنهم يجدون أن مفهوم{ خاتم النبيين}يحدد ملامح النبوة بعد الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم بشكل واضح وجلي. وهذا المفهوم ما كان إلا لكي يبين علو شأن النبي بين الأنبياء من ناحية، واستمرار النبوة من بعده من ناحية أخرى وعدم انقطاعها. ولكنهم يقيِّدون النبوة بشروط، لم تكن موجودة سابقًا، ويحصرونها في الأمة الإسلامية. ويزعمون أن المتنبي غلام هو المسيح الموعود. وقد نقلوا عن حضرته في معنى{ خَاتَم النَّبِيِّينَ}قصة طريفة، لا تقل طرافة عن قصة المتنبية فاطمة مع المأمون، فقالوا:”يروي حضرة ميرزا طاهر أحمد- رحمه الله- الخليفة الرابع للإمام المهدي عليه السلام، أنه في سنوات دراسته الجامعية بـ( لندن ) كان له أستاذ مصري، يدرِّسه اللغة العربية. وفي إحدى المرَّات كتب حضرته في موضوع عن الدولة الأموية ما يلي:«كان مروان بن محمد خاتم خلفاء بني أمية». فقال له أستاذه: لا، هذا ليس بصحيح، اكتُبْ:«كان مروان بن محمد آخر خلفاء بني أمية». فابتسم حضرته، وقال لأستاذه: إذن لماذا تصرُّ على أن معنى{ خاتم النبيين }:هو آخرهم “.
ويضيف أتباعه قائلين:” بالمِثْل نستطيع أن نقول:«إن هارون الرشيد هو خاتم خلفاء بني العباس». وهذا القول سيكون مقبولاً من السامع، وسيلقى استحسانًا؛ لأن هارون الرشيد كان أعظم خلفاء بني العباس، وقد أرسى قواعد الدولة وتميز في نواح شتى؛ ولكن لو قلنا:«إن المستعصم كان خاتم خلفاء بني العباس»، بصفته آخرهم، فإن السامع لن يتقبل ذلك أبدًًا “.
ويظهر من أقوال هذه الجماعة الكافرة بإجماع المسلمين أنهم لم يختلفوا عن غيرهم ممَّن سبقهم، وكان على شاكلتهم. فهم يعتمدون الأحاديث الضعيفة، والموضوعة، وأقوال من سبقهم ممَّن يزعمون أنهم من علماء السلف الرَّبَّانيِّين، وصلحائهم- على حدِّ تعبيرهم- في دعم أفكارهم العفنة، ونشرها بين صفوف العامَّة، ويتلاعبون بالألفاظ، فيضعون لفظًا مكان آخر دون أن يفرقوا بينهما في المعنى، ويختارون من النصوص ما يوافق هواهم، ويدعم أفكارهم.
ثانيًا- وقد سبق أن بيَّنت في مقالي السابق( الرد على القاديانية، وخاتم النبيين ) أن الخاتَم- بفتح التاء- هو الطين الموضوع على الشيء المختوم. وأُطلِقَ على القالَبِ المنقوش فيه علامة، أو كتابة، يُطْبَعُ بها على الطين، الذي يُختَم به، بحيث لا يخرج منه شيء، ولا يدخل فيه شيء. وأن الخاتِم- بكسر التاء- هو فاعل الخَتْم على الشيء المختوم. وبهما قرىء قوله تعالى:?خَاتَِمَ النَّبِيِّينَ?. يقال: خَتَم الإناءَ، أو الجَرَّةَ، فهو خاتِم، بكسر التاء، والإناءُ مَخْتومٌ، والآلةُ، التي استعملها الخاتِمُ في الخَتْم، هي الخَاتَمُ. فالفرق بين{ الخَاتَم }، بفتح التاء، و{ الخَاتِم }، بكسر التاء، واضحٌ، لا يخفى إلا على الصُّمِّ العُمْيِ، و?إِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتَى وَلَا تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ الدُّعَاء إِذَا وَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِينَ?.
وذكرت أيضًا أن حقيقةَ الخَتْمِ- في اللغة- هي السَّدُّ على الإناء، والغَلْقُ على الكتاب، بطين ونحوه، مع وضع علامة مرسومة في خَاتَم؛ لِيَمْنَعَ ذلك من فتْح المختوم. والختم على الإناء لا يكون إلا بعد الانتهاء من إتمامه. وإذا خُتِمَ لا يخرج منه شيء، ولا يزاد عليه شيء. ولإفادة هذا المعنى، قال تعالى:?خَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ?، ولم يقل:{ آخَرِ النَّبِيِّينَ }؛ لأن الخَاتَم هو الطين، الذي يُخْتَمُ به، وهو الآلةُ، التي يَخْتِمُ بها الخَاتِمُ على الشيء عند الانتهاء منه، اسْتيثاقًا من ألاَّ يخرجَ منه شيءٌ، أو يدخلَ فيه شيءٌ؛ فلهذا كان قول{ خَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ}أبلغَ وأعمَّ من لفظ { آخَر النَّبِيِّينَ}، وأدقَّ منه في التعبير عن المراد؛ لأنه يجمع بين معنيين، فدل على أن كل{ خاتَم }هو { آخَر }، وليس كل { آخَر }هو { خاتَم }. وهذا يعني: أن لفظ{ آخر }لا يدل على معنى الخَتْم؛ كما يدلُّ عليه لفظ { خاتَم }،هذا من جهة. ومن جهة أخرى فإن{ الخَاتَمَ }اشتُقَّ اسمًا من الخَتْمِ؛ لِيُخْتَمَ به على الشيء، الذي يراد خَتْمُه، لا ليُتَزَيَّن به. هذا هو الأصل في المراد من اشتقاقلفظ{ الخَاتَم }، حتى الخَاطِبُ، الذي يضع{الخَاتَم }في أصبعه في أيامنا هذه؛ إنما يضعه؛ لِيَرْمُزَ به إلى انتهاء مرحلة من مراحل حياته، هي مرحلة العزوبة؛ وليبدأ بعدها مرحلة أخرى من مراحل حياته هي مرحلة الزواج؛ فكأنه خَتَمَ بهذا الخَاتَم، الذي وضعه في أصبعه على مرحلةٍ من مراحل حياته، لا يمكن أن تعود بعد دخوله المرحلة الثانية.
هذا وقد بيَّنتْ قِراءةُ بن مسعود رضي الله عنه:?ولَكِنْ نَبِيًّا خَتَمَ النَّبَيِّينَ ?المراد من قوله تعالى:?خَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ?بيانًا لا لبس فيه، ولا غموض?لِمَنْ كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ?؛ كما بيَّنه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في حديث آخر، رواه مسلم، وهو قوله عليه الصلاة والسلام:« فُضِّلْتُ على الأنبياء بستٍّ: أُعطيتُ جَوامعَ الكلِم، ونُصِرْتُ بالرُّعْبِ، وأُحِلَّتْ لي الغنائمُ، وجُعِلَتْ لي الأرضُ مسجدًا وطهورًا، وأُرْسِلْتُ إلى الخلْق كافَّةً، وخُتِمَ بي النبيُّون».فكيف يُختَمُ به- عليه الصلاة والسلام- النبيون، إن لم يكن هو خَاتَمُهم، وآخر نبي فيهم ؟ وكيف لم يُغلَق بَابُ النُّبُوَّة، وقد ختمه الله تعالى بخاتَم النبيين ؟

There are two problems here. One is that the meaning is not being taken as per the Quran itself. It is being limited to the present day understanding of the word. khatama/yakhtamu (to seal) is a verb (fi'l) it needs a doer (faa'il) and something to be done upon (maf'ul bihi).
khaatam (a ring, a signet ring, a seal (stamp)) is a noun (ism).

don't confuse the two.

The expression used is Khaatamun Nabiyyeen. The Seal (stamp, the authority) of the Prophets.

If the word was khaatim (the sealer), the translation would be different. khaatim is a present participle (ism faa'il).
If it was Khaatimun Nabiyyeen, the translation would be: the sealer of the Prophets. The sealer of the prophets does not make sense. You would have to change the second word also. The second word would have to be nabuwat (prophethood).

So it would have to khaatimun nabuwat, The sealer of prophethood. If it was this then you are all right. But then again it is not this.

khaatama/yukhaatimu/al mukhaatamah does not exist. Even if it did: the translation would be: He finished with/to do to prophets. This grammatically does not make sense. I am pretty sure that you are aware that the Arabic grammar roots from the Quran. So, how could the Quran make such an erroneous mistake?

For Allah's sake please don't change the Quran in order to fit your understanding.

I mentioned earlier that Rasulullah (saw) has called Hadhrat Ali (ra) Khaatamal Awliyya. I am pretty sure he knew how to use the Arabic language better than you. Also, in order to prove your interpretation right, you would have to bring an example on how to use that word. I provided you one which was the same expression used with Hadhrat Ali (ra). I also gave you another example with Al Mutanabbi, Khatamal Shu'araa'.

Most translators have that much fear of Allah that they translate this verse as Seal of the Prophets. Please follow them.
