Whenever I met Wahabi aka his followers came across to people who are full of hate, gurdge to any Muslim or non Muslim who don't subscribe to their type of Islam.

Second, and my final comment as I am done, is that you stop living in a conspiratorial world of mirrors and come back down to the real world circa 2010: I'm sick and tired of all the blame games emanating from our wonderful Muslim world: its cia, mossad, raw, black water etc etc etc's fault...they are the ones blowing up our mosques and sufi shrines. Pleeeaase spare me...its an insult to my IQ.

Allah t'allah has given us a brain ...we need to use it and not act like gullible idiots.
Well you don't really use your brain or intellect. I had adviced you to just read the quran and try to understand it. Forget about all the concepts, terms and labels that are used by the kufaar (disbelievers), munafiqs and heretics. Focus instead on the real Islam, which comes from the Quran and Sunnah and not a mumba jumba version of Islam emanating from some kind of heretic, lunatic, misguided, " sufi sheikh" or anyone else for that matter. If you say you are muslim, just read the translation of the Quran and the biography of the prophet (pbuh), then you will see that's the real Islam and not the democratic, "peace-full", American version of Islam.

Why are Muslims against returning to what Nabee ص and his companions did?

Brother, what makes you think it is extremism? Nice to know there are others here who want to go back to the fundamentals.

I am finding the debate edifying [as long as even abbreviated swear words are kept out!].

I agree on one point with unknown: when he says he is angry at the Saudis for their betrayal of the Ottoman Turks.
At least that's how I feel.

It's not about the Saudis today. But I still am upset about that. Why to work with the BRITISH against fellow Muslims who had a Caliphate of sorts. It was weak by that time, but think how there was peace preserved in the entire region while the Ottomans were firm on their throne. After the British and French got their Mandates, there's been nothing but trouble ever since.

We all know about is-not-real, no need to talk about that. Had the Ottomans been still reigning, no israel would have been created. It would never have been allowed.

So I ask people to think about this particular angle. Most people may not agree, but I'm glad unknown brought that out. I have been fuming over this for quite some time - !

Wana88 could not likely be Mr Controversial Maseed though, as that guy was not pro-Sufi or anything like that, right ?!

There's no need to spread slanderous rumors, we have enough of those and it's not doing well as Taliban will be ruling Afghanistan in a matter of few years

Now we should start planning our future in Afghanistan around them

That is correct. The Saudi-Wahabi state was established after they betrayed the muslims (ottomans) and worked with the british, they also abolished the caliphate.

Also today the saudi-wahabi-state is unislamic and working together with america. oke, that's the political side of it. But most of the ordinary so-called salafi's and "wahabi's" are just people who want to follow the prophet and the quran and try to be good muslims. They know their government is corrupt and apostate. That's why they have tried many times to topple it. Even Osama bin laden tried that, that's why he was expelled first to sudan, then to afghanistan. Today there is an insurgency of mujahideen in the arabian peninsula (yemen) fighting against those apostate and corrupte despotic government, inshallah soon when the crusaders are defeated in afghanistan, with the help of mujahideen from there, all those regimes will be toppled and one khilafah will be established, then also the Saudi-wahabi-state will be abolished and thrown in the bin of history.

ignore 1400 years of scholarship and create a new version of Islam, re-learn how to pray, fast, believe ,etc. OH yeah, and on top of them, consider the majority of the Muslims in the past as kaafirs. That's 101.

If the 'ulimaa' have mislead people about the real Islam, then we have to fight against them.
