With superiority, I mean when you say that Pashtunwali is better than Shriah, or you say that Pashtuns are better then Punjabi, or you as a Pashtun look down on other people just because they come from a different country, tribe, speak another language etc. All those things are forbidden in Islam. There is no such discrimination in Islam. So if you say that my watan (country) is the best, or my language is the best, then you are not a good muslim.

The truth stares you in the face my dumb "brother": the horrific killings by Muslims of fellow Muslims in the name of Islam to include suicide bombings of fellow Muslim women and children at Iftar in the holiest month of Ramadan at the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad (Sept 20, 2008) by those muharribun "Muslims" who proudly (shamefully) call themselves part of the umma yet are quick to kill our women and children at iftar??? suicide bombing during friday prayers in MOSQUES. No, Maiwand, I don't buy your bull crap because you see my people had the veil of jahilliyah lifted from their faces centuries ago asa they sought and gained enlightenment in order to be better HUMAN BEINGS in front of a kind and merciful Allah.
I never take anything ---especially mouthed off bull S**t --- at face value. ACTIONS ALWAYS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS and one can't see what evil (or goodness) lies within a fellow human being's heart.
There has NEVER been a united Umma and I'm sorry to be the bearer of more bad news "brother" but there will never be a united Umma nor a global caliphate. We Muslims have always first identified with our qaums based on shared history and language. Examples everywhere: kurds vice Turks; persian vice Azeris; sindhis vice punjabis. Religion takes a back seat to this primary identity based on shared interests and a shrinking pie.
It is not us who are proud of our heritage that predate Islam that are mushriq; rather it is your hypocritical type who talk out of both sides of your mouths spewing hate filled lies and hate.
As for the Buddhists, I'd take them for friends anyday over a G-d damned Salafi munafiq! At least, I know they won't try to blow me or my family up during friday prayers in the name of Allah!!

I'm sure you know that we Pushtuns belong to the most enlightened fiqh and the one with the most adherents: hanafi fiqh. Forget about the terms wahabi, wahabism, salafi, salafim. We are all muslims. We believe in the same Quran and sahih hadith. I am not a wahabi or whatever. I just believe in the Quran and sunnah of the prophet, that's all. If you read the Quran with an open heart and mind, it is very clear. It is called by Allah (swt) Quranul mubineen, the clear book. Just read it yourself. Quran is sent by God for the whole of humanity, you don't need another person to interpret it for you. You have hopefully a rational mind, just open it and read it with the english translation. Go to Quran Recitation and Translation Online in Arabic, English, and Urdu

You are created by God, because you have to worship Him alone. This life is a test. You don't need a intercession of anyone else. In Islam we don't recognize anyone between us and God. We follow the prophet and we follow God, that's all. I hope I made myself clear.

You are correct that the term "wahhabi" is intentionally applied in the quest to demonize a cult movement whose whole focus is intolerance and violence towards all (to include fellow Muslims who have gone astray in THEIR mind). Their preferred term is "muwahhidun" (arabic for "unitarians"). And yes, I will say this for the record, they are a curse on society today Furthermore, most of today's act of global terrorism originate in the ideology of taymiyyah, wahhab, mawdudi, qutb. AQC, Taliban, TTP, HQN, HiG etc all in one way or another subscribe to this cult. Thus, they all must be destroyed/rooted out.
The message of the Wahhabis which emphasizes tawhid and direct relationship with Allah certainly on the surface sounds appealing but that's how they lure impressionable Muslims to their cult. The Prophet (PBUH) himself warned that the forces of shaitan will emerge from the najd.
