Are you saying then that ALL who follow a particular brand of Islam are doing it sighted? Or, I should rather say, informed?

    Comment

Does the silence suggest yes, as it should. For I know that not everyone who belongs to a particular brand of Islam are well informed.

Everyone thinks they are following the right path. Forget about the different sects within a religion, let us simply compare the religions of the world.

So, as it stands, that not everyone is well informed. Of course, we all want to be informed, even in science, but it does not happen.

Again, moral of the story: Don't look down on someone or their belief.

The only ones in history were Ibn Hazm and ash-Shawkânî and both of them are rejected by the majority. If one can't come up with more than 2 major scholars in 1400 years then they are idiots if they don't see the clear picture that paints.

You know how you can identify a Salafî? When they say dumb things like this guy has.

Imâm Abû Hanîfa followed the mathhab of the Sahâbî Anas bin Mâlik whom he knew and whose mathhab he learned through Hammâd bin Abî Sulaymân.

Imâm Mâlik primarily followed the mathâhib of Ibn Hurmuz, Rabî`ah and other Sahâbah and Tâbi`în he had the blessings of studying with. This included `Amir the son of `Abdullâh ibn az-Zubayr.

Imâm ash-Shâfi`î followed the mathhab of Mâlik with taqlîd until he died, then he studied the mathhab of Layth bin Sa`d.

The problem with the Salafîs is that you sit and talk about how Allâh sits on His Throne, wa-l `îyâthû billâh, but they are complete retards when it comes to fiqh. They want to debate Allâh's Asmâ' wa-Siffât to no end, but they don't even know how to wash themselves after they pee.

People need to stop going to these stupid $200 2-day seminars and get a REAL Islamic education.

That being said, the Muslims codified the law so that we don't have 1000 fatwas on how to wash yourself, you have 4 ways to chose from, pick one and wash yourself!

I'm sorry to brush you off but what you said needs quite a bit of evidence, since systematized Mathhahib didn't exist until the fourth century

In your next post would you mind quoting the scholars themselves who you've discussed in your above post

This should be done with the intent that no one is obliged to following anyone except Rasoolullaah, as what the scholars did isn't proof

          You know ARABIC?
          You know all the hadith
          the Quran Sharif by heart?
You have access to the isnad of each hadith, their context they were stated in?
Do you have the context of each quranic ayyat and what the mufasireen have stated?

but of course not, you woulnd't be here on this forum if you did you would be a Mujtahid Mutlaq having thousands of students.

so do you blind follow? YES, you read an english translation and copy and paste to make yourself feel better, look smarter, but in reality you look really dumb.

We blind follow every step of our lives almost, only if we realized it. When we go to a doctor, we get a nukhsa and that's accepted. When we step into buildings, we walk in believing someone has done their job maintaining this building. We don't go check the certificates, the walls, the elevator wires, the electric wires.

          wake up!!!
People shouldn't fall victim to your little scare tactics here. Let's speak realistically as you're making Islaam into some time of dogmatic doctrine ruled by a hierarchy with an iron fist

Islaam is not fascist way of life as you've just made it look nor does it have an encryption that only certain individuals can break

Not even the Sahaabah nor any of the "4 Imaams" knew all of the ahadeeth or had access to the amount of information we do today. In fact one of the main reasons the "4 Imaams" differed was due to them being ignorant about other ahadeeth

So you should really wake up, the only one who is All-Knowing is Allaah and no one else, EVERYONE was and is ignorant about something, including the scholars

That being said, taqleed of scholars is cursed by Allaah in the Qur'aan and Allah mentions how the muqallid and the one who allowed himself to be blindly followed will both be in the hellfire

We're discussing Deen and nothing else, whatever you mentioned regarding science, building or whatever, is insignificant

so you can't refute me and you want me to provide more evidence? Which you will deny and go on raning as always. Why don't you do a bit of home work and confirm deny what I stated?

This goes contrary to the hadith of the prophet SAW that knowledge will disappear with every generation, and the sahaba RAdhi`allahu Anhuma were the most knowledgeable, because they did absolute taqleed to the prophet SAW. Then came the Tabi`een, and Tabi`tabieen, and that is how we get the Salaf. If you believe we have more knowledge now than those people did, you are mistaken. We have access to everything, but HOW SO? in English translations? on computers? How does that help you???? Imam Abu Hanifah (ra) was of the TAbi`een, he met one of the Sahaba who SAW the prophet SAW. If you believe contrary, you are going against the direct hadith of the prophet SAW that those first 3 generations were the most knowledge. Its funny you call youself "Salafi" yet you say such retarded things..shows your lack of knowledge and ignorance

You've made statements without even showing where you got them from, so there's nothing to disprove as what you've said has no basis to begin with

I can say aliens landed and taught the "four Imaams" Islaam, where's my source for this?

First show me the ahadeeth you're referring to, it seems like you're trying to convey meanings that are not from the actual ahadeeth

As the habitualness of the people who do Tasawwuf, I've never said 99% of what you tried quoting me with

                  * I said we have more information available to us, it doesn't mean we are more knowledgeable

                  * Not all the Sahaabah knew the existence of every hadeeth. That's why they would ask other Sahaabah, and Sahaabis like ibn Masood, who lived in other lands, would return to Medina and verify some of his verdicts. At times he gave the wrong verdicts and at times he was correct. Each Sahaabi corrected another if they were wrong.

                  * I've never claimed to be Salafi, you're being very slanderous

I think you should really cut down on Tasawwuf as it makes a person not in the right state of mind

Why are you scared to do research? because you will find out the truth? I have read muhammad `ibn Abdul wahab's books, and some other salafi/wahabi books, the truth always stands out from error. That is why political groups like the wahabis and some tablighis will tell you not to read, they want to keep you dumbed down.

Let me address one of the things I posted. Have you read Imam Abu Hanifah's biography? If you have then you know he met one of the sahaba (RA). These people did not meet to have tea, they learned from each other. It's a known fact!!! MAdhabs existed from day one, even you have a madhab and blind follow, don't you? You read something in english, it makes sense to you, and you take that as proof? you blind follow the aalim like albaani or bin baaz who wrote that article. Even if you know arabic, you don't know all the hadith, quran, isnad, tafsir, etc etc..so in a sense you blind follow just 1-2 scholars. Again don't be afraid, one day you WILL get out of your wahabi/salafi thought, then you will realise, damn, I was soo wrong!

Anas ibn Malik said, ” I shall tell you a hadith which I heard from the Messenger of Allah (May Allah shower peace and blessings upon him), and which no-one will tell you after me. I heard him say “Among the signs of the Hour will be disappearance of knowledge and the appearance of ignorance. Adultery will be prevalent and the drinking of wine will be common. I don't understand what you're trying to say here and how it connects to what I said

I met plenty of Ahl al-Tasawwuf and Sufis, I use to attend Zaytuna and I attended many hadra as I was involved with the Qadri Tareeqa for several years

I personally know many of the famous Sufis that people like you idolize and look up to in the West - Habib 'Ali al-Jifri, Muhammad al-Yaqubi, Nooh Haa Meem Keller, Zulfikar Ahmed...who else is there? You name them and I've sat with them

And from all this T concluded the Ahl al-Tasawwuf and Sufis to but the most corrupt individuals that I've ever met, they made Islaam into a corporation and their greed had no limits

There's absolutely no proof for Tasawwuf from the Sunnah, all the spirituality that they discuss are aspects of Islaam and have nothing to do with Tasawwuf

There's no such thing a mysticism nor monasticism in Islaam

One can achieve the highest form of spirituality by fulfilling their Faraa'id, abstaining from Haraam, doing Sunnah acts and reading Qur'an. teh greatest of course is to fight on the battlefield as the Prophet himself had done 27-29 times

So there's no need to bring in a separate outside belief and try to sell it off under the disguise of Islaam, and if a person is a sincere believer, they will find Islaam to be enough, if not then it's the person whose the problem

Whatever the scenario becomes, if you can't prove tasawwuf from Qur'an or authentic ahadeeth, than there's no relationship between it and Islaam

As Allaah says He has explained in detail, there's no ambiguity about Islaam, everything is in front of us
