  • If God exists...

...then how can you convince me about Him.

The fact that everything is so intertwined in this universe speaks about intelligence. Intelligence is not random. Stephen Hawking is trying to formulate a formula that is universal. This idea of his to do this stems from the fact that he has recognized that everything in the universe is dependant of something else. Nothing is self-sufficient. This intelligence cannot be the works of an unconcious entity. It is the work of a concious being and we refer to it as God.

Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.

[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.

All you have said is that there is intelligence out there. You have not explained how and why this is related to God. Does this mean that when a magician does a trick that he could also be considered a "god?" Also, how do you know that someone who recognized certain patterns did not formulate the idea of God so as to have control over the minds of people? Don't we intrinsically agree with people who know more than us?

If God exists, how do you know your GOD is the right one? As you can see there is already a problem with all this.

Can you prove to anyone that God doesn't exist?

What you have said is used in a very common fallacious argument which can take 2 forms:

            1. Since you can't prove God exists, therefore He doesn't.
            2. Since you can't prove God doesn't exist, therefore He does.

Dust, for you I would even create an apple pie from scratch, and still feel unworthy of your warmth. Oh and you came out of it a million dollars richer. Win-win.

Lo and Behold all agnostics and atheists..Ooooops! I meant kafirs (Seen Nun Gaaf Ray personified). You cannot prove the nonexistence of XYZ unless you prove the existence first :P
God certainly exists..but, but..only as a concept, belief, or a fairy tale.If God is an intelligent designer, I have serious dubitos on his intelligence since at least one perfectly designed religion would have been a better alternative rather than to confuset us with Ek lac choobis hazaar peghambar/Jesus/Moses/Raam/Zoroaster etc. (alluding to our Arabian Princess Jasmine's and welcome-back-dearest-brother-MWMN's claims perfect intelligence).
God is a non-explanation that needs explanation through "intelligent apes"-designed concepts/beliefs to make him Omniscient; a non-information that needs the information through scriptures/prophets and rituals to keep him Omnipresent;and a nonexistent power which needs countless earthquakes, crusades, sucide bombs, Noah's floods to prove his Omnipotence.

lol @unhiddentruth: I wonder what's good/bad with the "character" of Pakistan, Indonesia, and India, the "populations bombs" ready to explode anytime! Duzzzzzzz

You mean our religion right? Allah is an arabic word for the name God; Allah isn't a special Muslim God.. there's only one God, however you pray to Him and whatever you call Him.

A very interesting summary of the debate, I must say, LZ. Very realistic as well -- we hear it all the time.

SO ... in the end, it all boils down to faith. And that's EXACTLY why we have no right to decide whether someone's worshiping an invisible deity we call God or a another deity represented by a calf or fire or the sun or the stars or the universe or nature or statues. It's all about faith ultimately. Who're we to decide what faith should be for others?
