Sufism has deep influence in Iran, Afghanistan and many other Muslim and non Muslim countries. If any one does not understand the importance of Rumi, Saadi, Chishti, Qadri, Suhrwardi, Mujadid Alf Sani, Bayazid, Ibne Arabi , rahman Baba, Khushal Baba etc in Islam then one cant show sun to blind.

Sufism is the one of the effective way we can get rid of wahabis, taliban, Alqaida, Salafis, Ahle hadith, the killers, murderers, suicide bombers who have given such a bad name to Islam and Muslims. We need Sufis once again to spread the real message of peace in the world. Sufism is the only antidote for the poison of Salafism and Wahabism.

Sufism is an integral part of Islam and always has been, its called Tazkiyatun Nafs. Sufis aren't different than mainstream Muslims, they are the Mainstream Muslims. Any valid figure in Islamic history was of the Ahl-e-Tassawuf, from the 4 Imams, the Sahaba (RA), the tabi`een, etc etc. Wahabism is a new found curse 150 years ago to terrorise and rape Muslims and non-muslims alike.

The IKhwan Movement of these Wahabis which was supported by British to attack Turkish Ottomon Units were opposed to anything technological at the time and opposed anything that wasnt present during the prophet time no wonder their own founders betrayed them and they were finished in the 30's.
