Is Ghani Khan poetry in accordance with Islam?
Well Quran And Sunnah allow poetry.. If it’s under the Islamic boundaries, like inviting people to good towards Quran and sunnah there is no haram in it . Ubayy Ibn Ka'ab, Radi-Allahu anhu, reports Rasulullah (s.a.w) as having said; "Poetry contains (much) wisdom." (Mishkaat with Mirqaat Vol. 9 Pg. 122 .
But if they poetry is about laila,majnoon,sharab, and other nonsense stuff .. Prophet (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: “It is better for a man’s belly to be stuffed with pus which corrodes it than to stuff one’s mind with frivolous poetry” [Bukhari] .In this hadith the Prophet alehi salam is talking about normal poetry to which a person gives all the time ,not reading quran and sunnah. But if the poetry is about sharab, nationalism everything that is none Islamic is haram.
Now i saw few people talking good about Ghani khan poetry that its good this and that .they give him high status. ... so lets check his poetry.. Pa Wallah chay da Janatha ba sham sthun. Chay kanzal pakay waw nawram da Patkhun . so now check this poetry is this written by a muslim? Sorry to yes mr ghani khan. But we dont blame him .The person was secular who had nothing to do with Islam.What i have known about him is what this person was a ,drunkee who liked alcohol too much and offcourse woman. Every poetry of him you take is talking about either woman or sharab.

(225) And that they say what they do not do. (226) sura Shoura .</SPAN>
One thing more which is kind of related to this topic is that this ghani khan party (ANP) whom he was leader .if you check their manifesto .. Is clear kufr .. la shaka feee . so what do you except from such person to write about .. Awami National Party - Manifesto
