Who converted Pashtuns to Islam?

Ok, so it's just another term for kafir.

But where there really hindu pahstuns and which regions/cities where they from?

Also, does that mean that turks saw kafir iranians as hindus, just in case if there where any kafir persians?

Pashtuns were Buddhist by and large, minority were Hindu and Zoroastrian.

Kafir Iranians were Known as Majoos by the Arabs, Muslim scholars would also call them Majoos so I guess that's what the Turks called them.
