Its true that 23% of Muslims raised in the USA are now murtadds, but it also important to point out that the % of Americans converting to Islam has also risen by 23%. So basically new Muslims are replacing former Muslims.

Heck, there was even a time when the local newspaper in the city i live in, said that there was some kind of muslim-hooligan group in the local turkish mosque. The ones who where claimed to be in the group were one of the most chill-ass guys i ever have seen. Seriously, if you ever hang out with these guys, you could never imagine them as some kind of hooligan-****s.

The worst part is, that the logo of the group was made up and didn't even exist, i think so(the logo was some bearded, kinda buff, middleeastern man wearing some t-shirt without sleeves, just in case if you know that logo).

To be honest American Muslims don't really have as much freedoms as they claim they have. Only time they will have freedom (not per se religious freedom) is when they water down their religion and be flag waving American dream believing American.

I don't think it's the same here in London, the confidence level of Muslims and the freedoms here is something I haven't seen any where.

Yeah , but to be very honest, with few exceptions the quality of our converts is pretty low, they typically fall into these categories

a.) The Ghetto demographic that is urban and are converting because they're really following some rapper or hip hop artist.

These types wear hijab, but will "twerk" in the club.

b.) Marginalized white women, generally very overweight or seen as unattractive; they're looking for male acceptance and they think becoming some culture's perception of a "pious woman" is the way to get that.

c.) Hipster Liberals who think that Islam is LGBTQ positive, Pro-Feminism, and is okay with open relationships and basically just became Muslim as some sort of political statement to "stick it to the right wing", because Muslims are oppressed by cis white males.

d.) New Age spiritual tourists who are just looking for a new obscure religion to experiment with.

e.) the desperate White or Black guy who just wants to get into bed with an attractive Middle Eastern woman and will say/do anything to get there.

f.) The rare convert who actually came to Islam out of sincere spiritual and intellectual journey and now embraces it when they're coevinced.

Deconversions were meant to happen, they even happened in Nabi(saw)'s time. I used to be really upset about people leaving Islam but then I realized that these are the signs that are meant to come for other changes to be ushered. We can't save everyone, but ultimately they will realize what a grave decision they made. Islam is not a numbers game, it's about people who really seek spiritual awakening.

For example Jamaican guys who have all the girls they can get yet they leave all of that and clubbing to follow Islam. Sometimes even in struggle against their families. Also Jamaican youths most will tell you they took their shahada even if they have fallen off they don't say they left Islam.
Overall Islam here is widespread and an integral part of society, matter of fact most people buy halal meat. The Jamaicans especially never eat haram meat and definitely not khanzeer. Also majority takeaways and restaurants serve halal.

Well that's different than freedom. i don't live in an area where there are a lot of conservatives. I live in an area where there are a lot of goofy liberal white people constantly apologizing for every bad thing white people did to non-white people.

One lady said to me "Oh I'm so sorry Trump got elected, that xenophobe, misogynist.....I just want you to know I voted Hilary" LOL

I told her I am fine with Trump's election .....he hasn't impacted my life yet. She was flabbergasted ....anyways. Trump's just a loud mouth ....he may have emboldened some bigots but life is still stable for the time being.

Even with Trump, I feel more at home here than I do in Saudi Arabia.
