After many years debating with Western atheists and being myself a hardcore anti-Islam for years I come to the conclusion that behind atheism hides Western assimilation/colonization. I know it sound weird but let me explain it.

Behind what we know as "atheism" hides Westernization. This logic works as follows: you don't believe in god or religion? Fine, you have to accept moral relativity, individualism, social liberalism, and so on. If you don't accept all this your "atheization" is not correct nor complete. No other option is left.

This logic also applies to secularism: it never comes alone. Those states who adopt it must also adopt liberal democracy, capitalism and Western hegemony.

Therefore I believe the Islamic world needs some serious and deep reforms. Basically we lack of everything: we lack of a proper argument to refute Western propaganda regarding Islam, we lack of a proper political system that can bring prosperity to our regions, we even lack of a proper atheism despite having many atheists such as Ibn Warraq (the original one not this modern fake Paki) or al Rawandi (which BTW was from Herat lol), so we need to adopt this fake Western atheist forgery,.. and so on

I am wondering wether atheism could have bad consequences overall for conservative cultures. The strong religious core may be needed to sustain cultural values, specially in urbanized regions. By removing God, you essentially remove high moral standards. Atheism = moral decay.

Disbelief in existence of god existed in the past. Even in the pre-secratic era, there were some Greek thinkers who questioned existence of god.

Modern notion of atheism as we know it is a product of Western Enlightenment. It is embedded in Western culture and tradition.

When atheism is perceived and adopted by people from non-Western world, it is in fact a product of Western intellectual colonialism.

In a highly conservative society like the Afghan by removing religion you will do more bad than good. This is something I realized long time ago. Since the American arrival to Afghanistan we have modern technology and infrastructures but our society is broken. Afghan old traditional values are gone.

This process happened also in Turkey, Iran, GCC and Pakistan (some Paki fools here think that their women wearing bikinis and drinking alcohol it means they are modern lol). Its Westoxication. Muslims need seriously to create a new modern identity and arguments to survive. Otherwise our values will disappear.

I know a lot of "muslim: Afghans who drink alcohol party and have sex with belgian girls and even use drugs sometimes. But still go to friday prayer and will curse you in 7 language if you call them kafir or not following Afghan culture.
