Yeah this is an easy question to answer.

According to Islam every nation or group of people has been sent a messenger or prophet, Qur'an mentioned some that were known to most but acknowledges others exist. Some people speculate that Buddha and Krishna were actually originally Prophets but became misvenerated into deities.

“Verily! We have sent you with the truth, a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner. And there never was a nation but a warner had passed among them”

          [Faatir 35:24].

This guy in the video is an amateur.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

As the video shows, all the prophets named in the Quran are of semitic origin. It does sound strange that God or his prophet pbuh could not relate one story from China, India or Sub saharan Africa. All the stories are from middle east.

The video also mentions that muslims say except for Quran all other books hae been changed, why didn't God protect the other books like he has promised to protect the Quran?

These are all legitimate questions and some sensible answers from knowledgeable members would be appreciated.

Well Three evidences come to mind, the language of the Qur'an has stayed in tact. This is one reason why preserving the Qur'an in the language it was revealed; it maintained the linguistic record of the document. If there were changes it would have been understood by the way the language was used.

Another is the recitation; if it was changed we'd have dramatically different verses recited. But the first Reciters of the Qur'an from Muhammad(saw)'s community had 14 Styles recitation, but recited the same Qur'an. Those they taught each perform in these different styles BUT recite the SAME Passages. As these reciters passed their knowledge down, they independently recite the same verses with different performing styles. These individuals were in the hundreds and then their students were in the thousands.

It'd thus be statistically unlikely that the verses changed because we'd have a historical record of someone observing the change comparing it to the other recitations.

Another evidence we have is the Uthmani Mushaf of the Qur'an, which is still in existence. The reciters that existed during the time a known and currently available written version of the Qur'an was scribed. The Mushaf was affirmed to contain the same verses of all the reciters that were present during its composition as well as existing parchments of the Qur'an. If there had been a change, the reciters who were present in Muhammad(saw)'s life would have noted it.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

First off let's get one thing clear. The guy in the video is being very crafty and sarcastic, instead of asking a direct question he gives small peices of selective information and let's you work out the rest. For example anyone viewing the video will automatically assume all the prophets mentioned were Arab even though in reality only 4 of them were, the rest were non Arabs.

Secondly, if you made this issue at the time of Muhammad pbuh it would raise more speculation because Muslims were only in the Middle East right? they would question why no more prophets are going to be sent to other parts of the world. The answer was 'I am the last messanger and Islam will spread to all nations through me' a very outrageous claim at the time..now fast forward to 2016 his word became true Muslims are all over the globe from Chinese to European to American, did we need prophets for this to happen? Obviously not just as our final messanger told us.

Thirdly pay attention to the verse in the Quran: “We assuredly sent amongst every People an apostle, (with the Command), "Serve God, and eschew Evil.” (an-Nahl, 36) ... Therefore this means there were all types of prophets from Chinese to African to Eskimo. Prophets were sent to ALL people.

Now you want to interrogate God why he hasn't mentioned the details of 124,000 prophets in the Quran, who knows, maybe one day you will be able to interview him, but for now his wisdom is what we rely on. One thing that needs to be understood is that the Quran is not a reference book that has to include every single detail, if it did it would have been over a trillion pages big, instead it's a reletively thin book and Allah has chosen to pick and include what he has wished to do so. The Quran has not claimed to be an encyclopaedia.

These so-called skeptics just keep asking the same questions that were answered years ago. They come here thinking:

"hehe here's a question they'll never be able to answer, that'll stump 'em"

Like they've come up with some new that no one's ever contemplated. Like I said, amateurs.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Also ...I'd like to add, the claim that Qur'an only references Middle Eastern stories is false.

Dhul Qarnain is mentioned in Surah Al Kahf, now there's some speculation on who Dhul Qarnain actually was. Some suggest he may have been Alexander the Great; some suggest he was Cyrus The Great.

But whichever view is taken, he wasn't "Middle Eastern" unless you consider Macedonia or Persia within that scope.

There's also a story about Khidhr(as) and Musa (as); while Musa(as) definitely is Middle Eastern.....Khidhr (as) may not be ....Khidhr translates into Green Man...the Green Man lore is present in almost numerous world cultures ...from Europe to South East Asia.

                      Here's an article about it.

Arabic changed from that of what was spoken during Mohamad times to what is used now. And a lot of people have no clear perception of the meaning of some words used in the Quran.

Did you know that even during Mohameds time there were diffrent versions of Quran, and that after his dead one standart version was used.
All the other versions were burned, so how do we know what did pass and what not.

That's COLLOQUIAL Arabic; not Qur'anic Arabic or more commonly known as Classical Arabic. The language of Classical Arabic has stayed Classical Arabic, unchanged since that time. This is why in Arabic countries, Classical Arabic or FusHa is not used by the population, But Classical Arabic is something mandatory to study ancient Arabic manuscripts.

Different versions or Different RECITATIONS? I think you're confusing the 14 STYLES of Recitations with Different Versions; this is a common error that people make.

You are not answering the main questions in the video,

Why are all prophets from Middle East? Arabs, jews etc are all semites, why only semite prophets

So over one hundred thousand prophets were sent and one to every nation, God has all the knowledge, why didn't God mention some of these prophets sent to other Nations and relate their stories so we can learn something from them? All the stories are based in and around Middle East. The story of Lut AS, Yusuf AS, even dhul Qarnain who some speculate to be Cyrus the persian are all located in Middle east. Why not a Japanese story? Surely this would have helped the case of Islam as people would have bee astonished that the prophet PBUH could relate a story from Japan who were so far away from Arabs, thus showing he had divine knowledge?
No one is asking God to mention all the stories of all the prophets but at least one story putside the Middle East would have helped.

                              Let's not be disingenuous here

The Video is clearly referring to SEMITIC Prophets; you're changing goal posts making an equivalence between Semitic and Middle Eastern and then pigeonholing the ancient Achaemenid with the Semites.

1.) First of all it's debatable whether that region should be considered the Middle East in the first place. Cyrus the Great's Empire extended to the Frontiers of Turkestan and large swaths of India.

2.) The term "Middle East" is an ad-hoc term more recently defined. If we take that into consideration we fall back on the Video's original suggestion, that the Middle East is being used interchangeably with Semitic is a faulty one

Khidhr (as) and Dhul Qarnain (as) are two non-semitic stories contained within the Qur'an.

3.) Lastly we don't know if Dhul Qarnain is even Cyrus, what we have is a general geographic region which is essentially Asiatic. It serves affirm that Dhul Qarnain was most likely Asiatic.

It's an intellectually dishonest tactic to switch goal posts to make it seem as if there wasn't a valid response to the question, by trying to pigeon a Non-semitic story into the conditions. But based on the information we have available. This video has been sufficiently answered.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."
