Hijab? No Hijab?

i have been wearing hijab, niqab and full burqa on my recent visits to afghanistan and the experience was a bit interesting. with burqa it's hard to carry yourself because you have more freedom of moving around but the damn thing slips off of your head and if you lose the whole patch thing you are good as dead.
niqaab attracts way too much negative attention. in comparison, the hijab which is the term i am using for a simple scarf covering your hair entirely as well as your neck worn with a habaya is a much better option. yes, people will stare but if you ignore them and avoid making eye contact they will go on with their day.

after seeing your eyes only, they will keep calling you "khumari". you are bound to glare at something if not him which makes the situation even worst.
