But carbon date of the ink doesn't say when the Ink was actually used to write.

I mean even we take the conspiracy theoristic approach, That would mean that these people had visions of the future. That in itself would be impressive and something to explore
People do it all the time when writing & printing a book.

It would because the concentration would tell us When the ink was used.

Which was my original point....That's why they use carbon dating.

But they wouldn't just pick some arbitrary part to keep in tact or to forge most of it then keep one part in tact.

Can you show a case where of forging arbitrary parts and keeping the rest in tact? Or keeping a specific part and forging the rest?

So you're talking about the other debris that were trapped in the ink while writing?

No the concentration of Carbon Radio-Isotopes. Did you ever learn about Half-Life decay in school?

Just because the parts of this Quran that were found correspond with today's Quran. It doesn't mean automatically the missing parts will also.
This finding only says the a parts of the Quran remain unchanged.

Unless they have a different copy from the same time that possesses the rest of the Quran. Only then could they say it remained unchanged.

Editing can happen in a short amount of time.

I already explained it, but since It decays at a certain rate the Moles Of The Carbon Isotope would be at a certain concentration at a certain period of time.

If they used "old ink" to scribe it later, the ink would have sublimated. Since ink storage wasn't very good for that time. The Colloidal suspension of ink in parchment prevents it from doing that due to what's called Van Der Waals forces.

But your suggestion would be very unlikely because it would mean they had fore knowledge on what to cherry pick and what not to.

Care to show a case where they kept arbitrary in tact with certain parts forged in tact or arbitrary parts forged with certain parts in tact

I concede on this point. It's getting beyond my knowledge of ink & chemistry.

Whoever you may think hypothetically may have forged some document.
