Well I'd define privately as simply saying you're not Muslim and you respectfully disagree but don't want to interfere to alter any Muslim society and culture from being "Muslim" or actively trying to persuade people from being Muslim/

antagonize would be some of your juvenile posts where you basically just insult or vilify Islam. There are more constructive ways to express your concerns and disagreements about Islam.

For example, you could simply ask, why do Muslims feel it was ok for Muhammad to have marry Aisha. Rather than "Oh my god he married a 9 year old, that's perverted, that's pedophilia"

the first assumes nothing but is concerned and wants answers, the second already assumes your position on the matter is THE correct one. I know you'll come back and say "Well don't Muslims ALSO assume they're automatically correct?" Well yes, but if you want to reach a Muslim audience, you'll get more flies with honey than with vinegar.

Now me, I actually do not get offended by attacks on Islam or Muhammad, BUT I respond because I feel your conceptual understanding is somewhat faulty. I too actually have my concerns about some things Muhammad did or sanctioned, but not His marriages because Anthropology has valid explanations for that. Anyways, I went on a tangent but it stresses the idea of how you can be an Apostate and Still have productive respectable relationship with Muslims.

Freedom of speech is part of the law in most all secular societies and the internet. except in China which is similar to Islam.
