There are many sects in islam who do not believe in the literalness of Quran. These are words of God revealed to Muhamamd but these are not the only wording of God as God being omnipotent, omniscient cannot speak only one book or few holy books in his eternal life.

Ok, so if you believe Allah is not a supreme being then you do not believe this supreme being (Allah) spoke to Muhammad through the angel Jibrail. So when Muhammed used his 'supernatural power' to 'connect' who did he connect with?...

You say many sects 'in Islam' however in reality many of those sects are not even Muslim because they go against the core principles of what makes you a Muslim, to themselves they are Muslim but its only because they are in denial.

One of the most common Surah we Muslims recite is called 'Surah al-Ikhlaas' which translates to Sincerity:

"He is Allah, the One and Only! Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not nor is He begotten. And there is none like unto Him"

Surah Ikhlas is a very important Surah from the Holy Qur'an because it proclaims the Oneness (Tawhid) and Absolute nature of Divine Essence. This concept is presented in the first ayat. The second ayat declares that Allah is Eternal, i.e., He is beyond the bounds of time and space. The third ayat describes that Allah does not give birth nor is He is given birth and the last ayat declares that Allah is beyond comparison. Surah Ikhlas directly supports the first declaration (shahadah) of Islam: "There is no god but Allah". In this context, Islam is based on belief in one God (monotheism).

IF however Muslims did believe in a anthropomorphic God, the Salafis or Wahabbis would be the LAST to believe it because how strict they are about 'Tawheed' So i dont know where or why you pluck these baseless statements out of thin air.

The last ayat in the Surah in BOLD declares that there is none equal to the Monoreal because the Monoreal is unique. Human beings live in the world of duality where each object or concept has an opposite. Some examples of duality are good and evil, male and female, small and large, and so on. In contrast to this, the Monoreal is absolutely unique because it consists of all realities and there is nothing left except Itself. Therefore, the Monoreal is beyond comparison.
Here is a very interesting discussion. I am surprised you don't know that Salafis believe in a material anthropomorphic God. just search in google what Salafis think of God.

I skimmed through the first post. Its an opinion of the person 'efrit' (which means Devil) that has posted it on what salafis think, its not an actual fact, he rights 'Moslem' which is the word non-muslims use, therefore i would be very suspicious about his justifications. Also its not logical to speak on behalf of all muslims that regard themself of follwing the path of the Salaf. I will read the rest of that when i have the interest.

What about the rest of what i said?

Gabriel is also light or energy not matter

Gabriel is also light or energy so no problem and is believable. Muhammad was a strong man with personality so got inspiration and revolutionized the world of that time but what he did or said can't be valid for ever.
Who is Muslim who isn't is a complicated thing. For every sect the other is out . So no need to discuss it.

Why would a supreme deity only reveal the requirements of that time when human existence is only a fraction of the entire Cosmos? Your belief is not consistent with this Abstract Idea of a Vital Force in the Universe; especially when you argue based on time because for such a being time has no relevance.

No, there are nearly 2 billion Muslims, many sects with many differences but for the most part despite differences everyone is still Muslim because the core concepts and beliefs are the same, it's only a very small percentage that are disregarded as Muslims such as your self because you've taken and remixed your own philosophies challenging God himself to such a level where not only are you a non-muslim but worse than a non muslim, because of your shirk and blasphemy you people will be in the pits of hell in worse conditions than atheists. When faliable men like you, Qadiyani, Mirza Ahmed etc claim to have authority to challenge Devine revelation that's what takes you out of the religion. Your not out the sects because the sects have their core beliefs you are out the whole religion.

Also your philosophy is flawed, you don't believe in a supreme being but you believe in a energy source, thing is energy sources can't come together and form words. So rethink what you believe about God, devil etc because it doesn't make sense.

There are authentic fatwas that for Sunnis all Shias(millions) are non Muslim while for some Shias Sunnis(millions) are non Muslims. Even for Sunnis and Shias Ismaili Muslims are non Muslims.the same goes for Brelivis and Deobandis. For Deobandis even JI are non Muslims. So this is not the case of few Muslims but millions of Muslims. Shias consider Imams to be infallible and thus Shias are non Muslims for Sunnis. Go deep my brother.

Ok your types are not the same of the above mentioned. seriously, none of the above are more flawed than 'badlun muslims'. deobandees, brelvis etc they have minor differences whereas your differences are major - your concept of Allah, to the Quran, to the hadiths is completely different, i bet you dont even believe in heaven or hell. You are blind to reality because you have nothing in common with Muslims yet somehow you find comfort in calling yourself one, no offence but its common sense. Out of 2billion muslims your types are how many 0.05%? 0.1%?? you don't even know what your own beliefs are let alone explain them. Best word to describe you is an agnostic. i hope you see the light one day. peace

No, mainstream muslims do not believe god, satan, heaven & hell are just products of the mind.

Whats your beliefs about Judgment day?

Every body has a day of judement on daily basis and the day of judgement mentioned in Quran is again for the soul, for the spirit , not for the body.

Better education, lesssuperstitions and being less backward is as much important as salat and other religious duties. You should always only care about your own sins and not try to to missionarize other people because everyone of us is not perfect and has already enough to work for his own soul. I honestly dont care about Satan and Satanic influences , the world was always full of evil and modern humans are not less or more evil than humans of the past. We just too often idealize our ancestors

This is perfect secularism. Salat or prayer has it's own place and development its own. With only salat or religion you remain backward and only mundane pursuits make you less spiritual and hollow.

So you don't even believe in the day of resurrection. Wow. Yes mainstream muslims believe hell is a physical place aswel as heaven. Allah not merely some vague force of energy or ball of light but an actual supreme being as the surah al-ikhlaas mentions, the same with angels and the devil they are physical beings. You are mistaken if you think mainstream muslims have all these spiritual aspects as mere phenomenon in the minds.

Last question. What do you believe happens to you after you die. Do you believe in a life after death?

I believe that soul or vital force never dies. After separation of body and soul, the body disappears while the soul remains. Death is just another step towards another life. This is why I am not afraid of death. My death must be celebrated like that of Osho.
I enjoy discussion with you. Plz keep on.
