  • What can we do to minimise Satanic influences?

As a morally righteous people, what can we do to minimise the Satanic whispers (waswasah) that we hear all around us?

Satan has a bad "rap", but really they're an embodiment of the negative aspects of the Divine.

Satan does not exist so no question of satanic influences. This is all mental issues. Law, science and spirituality are the ways out for any evil, crime and sin.

If God exists, so does Satan, if Satan doesn't exist, neither does God.

God symbolizes virtue and Satan evil. Virtue and evil do exist but God and Satan are not material beings.

                This is a false duality

In reality darkness and light are mutual partners in the construction of reality. Satan is just an aspect of the Divine just as God is.

Virtue and evil only exists in our heads. The Push and Pull between chaos and order are simply nature.

So you do not believe in god? Now you can finally admit that you are a non-Muslim and save us all the indirect subliminal messages. Stop quoting the Quran and what Allah says when you don't even believe in him. As they say lies are only buried superficially, I'm glad you have exposed your true self in the end atleast. Respect.

Nevermind wahabi or salafi, if you do not believe in a material god then who do you believe the author of the Quran is?

The author of Quran is a non material abstract God , not the anthropomorphic God of Wahabis or Salafis. For me God is a universal phenomenon, a supreme vital force and energy .

The God of Quran revealed things according to the requirements of that time but now after 1400 years some injunctions like inferior status of woman, polygamy, beating of wives etc can be reinterpreted.

If Allah is just a phenomenon & some energy force then i take it you do not believe the Quran is the literal word of this energy force then? Is the Quran the word of Muhammad or the word of Allah?

Answer in a simple way please don't try and change topic to women, polygamy or run away from the question.

I believe in inspiration, intuition, revelation, parapsychology, hypnotism, mesmerism, power of words, magic, telepathy, extraordinary phenomena etc so in that sense Muhamamd did not write the Quran but he being a man with supernatural power and connection, words of Quran were revealed to him.

There are many sects in islam who do not believe in the literalness of Quran. These are words of God revealed to Muhamamd but these are not the only wording of God as God being omnipotent, omniscient cannot speak only one book or few holy books in his eternal life.

Also, Muslims do not believe God is anthropomorphic or have any human characteristics at all whether it be a wahabi salafi sufi barelvi deobandi or whatever, its the most basic belief a Muslim has that Allah is unlike anything, we cannot pick out anything to say he is similar to or even comprehend. One of the most common Surah we Muslims recite is called 'Surah al-Ikhlaas' which translates to Sincerity:

"He is Allah, the One and Only! Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not nor is He begotten. And there is none like unto Him"

Surah Ikhlas is a very important Surah from the Holy Qur'an because it proclaims the Oneness (Tawhid) and Absolute nature of Divine Essence. This concept is presented in the first ayat. The second ayat declares that Allah is Eternal, i.e., He is beyond the bounds of time and space. The third ayat describes that Allah does not give birth nor is He is given birth and the last ayat declares that Allah is beyond comparison. Surah Ikhlas directly supports the first declaration (shahadah) of Islam: "There is no god but Allah". In this context, Islam is based on belief in one God (monotheism).

IF however Muslims did believe in a anthropomorphic God, the Salafis or Wahabbis would be the LAST to believe it because how strict they are about 'Tawheed' So i dont know where or why you pluck these baseless statements out of thin air.

The last ayat in the Surah in BOLD declares that there is none equal to the Monoreal because the Monoreal is unique. Human beings live in the world of duality where each object or concept has an opposite. Some examples of duality are good and evil, male and female, small and large, and so on. In contrast to this, the Monoreal is absolutely unique because it consists of all realities and there is nothing left except Itself. Therefore, the Monoreal is beyond comparison.
