They say that about Gujjars coming from Hephtalites (a large tribe among Pakistanis and North Indians, comparable to Ghilzais and Sarbans among PAshtuns....)and Jats coming from Scythians (i'm pretty sure everyone knows what a jat is....)
Gujjars and jats of India have mixed too much in to the local population, maybe their ancestors came from there, but certinatly it does not matter today, because most of their genes are Indian, and like kushan said, they were a very small minority in a very large Indian population

Plus, Zoroaster was more likely related to Pamiri people and Yaghnobi people today than with Pashtuns. They are eastern iranians too and they look pretty white....

Ossetians are Eastern iranians and they also have their mythology. Infact, Ossetian mythology is pre-zoroastrian, look it up, they even made a religion to revive Ossetian folk tradition.

Also note, Pashto has retroflex constants which is present in other Indo-Aryan languages Punjabi, Urdu, and Sindhi and Dardic languages. Theoretically, Pashtuns historically moved in and displaced quite a few Dardic peoples in older times where they aquired retroflex consonants. Other iranian languages are clean and lack those hard consants, balochi doesnt have it either even when brahui people are within balochis....
You are a moron. Zoroaster was from Kandahar not the from the Pamirs.

Also, a very small numbers of Pashtuns were actually Zoroastrians, but majority were either buddhists or monotheists. Pashtuns more or less originated from around modern day Balkh before migrating to other parts in Afghanistan. Even Avestan (an ancestor of Pashto) came from that area.

Look at this artistic wonder from almost 2000 years back, this is from eastern afghanistan, you can see how people lived back then

Those are statues of greeks, not Pashtuns.

I have been to Kalash area in Chitral. People and area both are awesome. That would be so good if Pashtuns once again become Kafir like Kalash.

Even after Islam, Pashtun were peaceful as they followed Sufi Islam and practiced Pashtunwali. Its after 1979 that Islamism has made Pashtun terrorists, extremists and anti- life people.

Pashtun did not had a writen religion or gods like our neighbours, we had a life code that we folowed, we were a kafir as it can get, we did not had gods, Our Pashtunwali was something what Confusious was in China, set of moral codes that we folowed. And that's it, The Budhist temples and zoroastrian temples where build and worshipeed by other people who resided with us in our region....
