As salamu alaikum
Ramadan for us is tomorrow as there was no sighting of the moon yesterday.
In sha Allah it is a blessed month for us all, and may Allah forgive us our sins during this month and increase us in reward. And may He have mercy on all of the Muslims suffering all over the world and end their pain and torment. Ameen.
Please keep the rest of the ummah in your duas during this sacred month.

In General, the origins of this type of service date back to the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad.
