if he didnt marry where will imam mehdi come from? imam medhi is from prophets line.... now if imam askari was the continuer of that line and he didnt marry where did his kids come from and how will mehdi come???? lol unless of course u knw better or is ur knowledge limited to horses

yes, Imam Hassan (ra) is from the ahlul bayt.

Imam hassan was the son of imam ali and imam hassans line merged with that of imam Hussain

I think it all depends on the definition of ahlul bayt.

sunnis don't restrict ahlul bayt to just the progeny of Imam Ali (ra),

any hadith stating that he will be from descendents of fatimah (ra)?

Also imam Ali (ra) had many children after fatimah (ra), what about them?

only offsrping from hz fatima are ahle bayt.... look up hadith of the coat for definition of ahle bayt,... its in the sunni collections

Probably by missionary work... who knows by its likely the safavids had some influence
