my purpose of posting this article in religion section see to how people twist religious ideologies to make it suitable for their needs.
yes muslim do commit sin. do they have to take a pride committing those sins? and brag about it? its not written on the body that one is gay or straight. one can live with man woman or dog no one should interfere in ones personal affairs. i still don't understand why others have to know about ones orientation?

Because they live in a kafir land, where you have to be open about everything, otherwise they will call you anti sociaal or what not.

And by the way, its not mentioned in the Quran that if you are gay you will go straight to hell.....you will only be punished if you do the act of homosexuality.
And maybe in this mosque the gays wanting to strength there belive by not doing the act of homosexuality....So they are not twisting the religion.

well science has shown that sexual orientation is not really someone's choice. It's rooted in many biological developmental factor.

Of course it is a sin and you should not be "proud" of it; but at the same time, the idea that one can't be gay and Muslim is absurd as saying one cannot do a sin and be Muslim.

I think being gay is a challenge because homophobia is prominent; no one chooses to be persecuted, bullied and harassed. I doubt they'd want that on themselves.

It isn't like Afghanistan where boys are just used as surrogate girls, but their orientation is essentially heteronormative

            well
