I have met many Jews in US, Middle east, Europe and Latin America. I rather lived with Jews in Venice Italy in Jewish part of the city.

I have found them very practical, hard working , business minded and nice people. The religious Jews are very conservative but they are not hard liners.

Yes Salafi Wahabi Islam which claims that Islam is a complete system of life covering your hair style, clothes, food, drinks, culture, politics, economy etc is very similar to Judaism. The only difference is Moses and Torah.

While spiritual Islam is closer to Christianity.

Judaism is one end where even sugar has to be kosher/halal while Christianity is another end where everything is halal . Being a Christian you have few beliefs, spiritual activities but it does not forbid any thing.

Salafi Islam is in the middle where sugar is halal but for food and clothes you have to look at religion.

For me the best is Sufism and spiritualism.

Whats your opinion on jews?

Over the past few weeks I have been watching a lot of videos on Jews and Judaism and I have come to the conclusion that overall many of them are good people, I am talking about the religious Orthodox Jews, Orthodox Jews and their practices are very similar to muslims and Islam. In the muslim world we are often taught to hate jews, perhaps because of the creation of Israel, however we should really change this attitude and look at things in a bigger picture. I think we should focus on similarities and bridge the gap between us. Even on you tube for example, it is often Jews who defend muslims and Islam against christian bigotry. Clearly they understand Islam much better then Christians do. I am not saying that I agree with them in everything, however we muslims often go overboard with our hate against them. We should change this in my opinion.

I have met a jew who was going from door to door in the neighbourhood to sell his paintings. He knew we were Muslim. We complimented his work and since I like to paint as a hobby, he gave me some tips. He called back that evening just to ask us why we showed him respect when we knew what was happening in Palestine. We said to him that as Muslims, we respect all of Allah's creation. It did not matter that he was a jew but as a human being he was still Allah's slave.

Bottom line, anyone who gives me an ounce of respect, I will give him/her double.
