سُوۡرَةُ مَریَم
وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَـٰتُنَا بَيِّنَـٰتٍ۬ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَىُّ ٱلۡفَرِيقَيۡنِ خَيۡرٌ۬ مَّقَامً۬ا وَأَحۡسَنُ نَدِيًّ۬ا (٧٣

Maryam
And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW who have a hard life): "Which of the two groups (i.e. believers or disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation)." (73)

In Surah Taha when Allah says to Musa 'alayhis Salaam: Was tana'a tu ka linafsee. And I have chosen you for Myself. SubhanAllah.

They try and put out the light of Allah with their mouths. However the light of Allah will continue to glow, even if the unbelievers hate it.

[As-Saff 61:8]

“Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all to all that is good, enjoining Al-Ma’ruf and forbidding Al-Munkar*. And it is they who are the successful” (Qur’an 3:104)

Al Ma'ruf: Islamic Monotheism and all the commandments included within.

Al Munkar: Polytheism, disbelief and all that is forbidden.

"Assist one another in (matters of) piety and righteousness and do not assist one another in sin and transgression." [Surah Al-Maa’idah: 2]

42.What caused you to enter hell??

43.they will say:we were not of those who used to offer prayer

44.Not we used to feed al-miskin(the poor)

45.and we used to talk falsehood with vain talk

46.And we used to belie the Day of Recompense

47.untill there came to us(death) that is certain

(2:286):and if My servants ask you about me(allah) tell them that i am near. I respond to the call of him who calls, whenever he calls to me. Let them then, respnd unto me, and belive in me, so that they may follow the right path
