Parlimentar democracy with legislators is more like a game of trial and error. Who are these so called legislators but a bunch of rich idiots from prestigous university who have no experience of real life.

I don't mean to base laws on wise sayings of the past alone but the imlementation and interpretation of the law should be in the hands of living wise people who know how to use the law for the advantage of the people.

Look at what happened to Muslims to base their laws on hadiths who are words of the prophet collected after many centuries after his death and then innocent people are stoned to death or millions of women are secluded and kept like prisoners in 4 walls of houses. Religion is for faith not for law.

Philosopher king was a theory of Plato but in practice this is politician who does everything. States, societies and individuals are in the hands of politicians not even political scientists.
If you put some books on top of the donkey, it still remains a donkey. Legislators without guidance of wise people are destined for failure.

That is the problem with some muslims who think by reading a few hadiths and verses of the Quran, they have become wise. Infact they are the the ignorant fools who have missed the purpose of Islam. Just because ignorant muslims who have not undrestood the message of Islam and have commited errors in applying the law doesn't mean the law is not sufficient.

Philosophers are the same fools as the politicians and other technocrats. Mere Philosophers are full of conjectures, they lack wisdom. Philosophers are themselves confused so how can they be kings and guide a nation? All they do is argue with lack insight and wisdom.

    Wise people are above philosophy.

God or gods do not come on ground and will make laws for us. According to Muslim faith the last prophet as representative of God came 1400 years ago, for Christians 2013 years ago and for Jews may be 3000, for Hindus and Buddhists even more.

Then today in 21st century who will legislate for us according to the requirements of today if we have to take God's guidance must.

And those who do not believe in God, millions, what they will do for formulating laws?

Can you please tell me few names of wise persons in 60 millions Pashtuns or 180 million Pakistanis or 30 millions Afghans who will make laws for us and will run the state according to those laws?

God's laws are already there in the Quran and and clarified by the prophet (saw) through ahadiths. We need wise rulers who will rule in accordance with the covenant we muslims have with God. Those people who are closest to Muhammad (saw) in character should be the rulers. Those who have a good standing in the communnity, have no desire for wealth and power but only become rulers to serve God through serving the people.

Other religious groups can choose their own leaders according to their own wishes.

I don't know any names of the top of my head. Maybe we can do a talent search and find them.
