Guley, Stoning to death is an ancient form of execution. I never said it was initiated by Islam considering the fact that Judaism and Christianity are older than Islam.

My major and ONLY concern is the injustice extended to the offender through this form of capital punishment. Also, a great amount of bias is shown towards women when a crime involves both man and woman.
Jews and Christians have realized that this form of execution are acts of barbarism and hence you would hardly hear anything of this sort from them. But the muslims have not moved an inch yet.

I never said that you said it was initated from Islam, it was a general statement to clear up this minconception. Also, Judaiism and Christianity are not older than Islam, only their scriptures.

In Islam, no where does it say only the woman should be stoned.

Jews and Christians are changing all the time, along with their scriptures, Muslims are the only ones who maintained their beleifs, Alhamdolilah. Not that I'm denying how the Ummah has strayed.

You've minsunderstood me again, my comment wasn't about the issue of women being stoned, it was about the Taleban being a minority and not representing Islam.

You would say that Talibans are imposing a harsh brand of Islam and Islam is a peaceful religion but at the end of the day, they represent Muslims, not Jews or Hindus. And they are doing it for the same God that all other Muslims pray to 5 times a day.

And you would say that Pashtuns are imposing harsh laws, and that Pashtunwali and Pashtuns are peaceful. But at the end of the day, they represent Pashtuns, not Tajiks or Punjabi's. And they claim the same identity as you, (me).

Stoning is for adulterers. An adulterer is a person is who is married and fornicates with a person who is no lawful or them.
