My personal experience is that Catholicism or Christianity in general is more akin to mysticism as in Christianity there are no set rituals of worship, nothing is prohibited to eat or wear for general public and universal morality is focused. After middle ages it has not tortured others or forced others to believe in Christianity. Their sermons are totally focused on morality and spirituality and there is no system like sharia etc.

The second one will be Buddhism and then Hinduism. Buddhism is a totally godless religion and focus only on nirvana and enlightenment, Hinduism is more spiritual and social than a religion.

Only Sufism is the true Islam and in that sense Islam is also akin to Spiritualism and mysticism.

This is for people who are ignorant about Islam and Mysticism in Islam.

Sufism is an aspect OF Islam; so it cannot be the true Islam; it's APART of true Islam. Islam is both dhahir and batin, outer and inner. You need both to have Islam. So Sufism, alone is not true Islam. Sufism together with Shari'ah is Islam. In fact Real Sufism, needs Shari'ah. Any Sufism that abandons Shari'ah is not True Sufism

Would you agree if I say there is a legislated "sufism" and an invented "sufism", where the legislated sufism is basically a contemplative understanding of Islam, while the invented Sufism is mere imitation of Hinduism.

um In some cases sure; but not in all. I think Badlun's type of Sufism is just crypto-Paganism. But I also believe Sufism is more than simply contemplative; I believe there is a kind of seeking the spirit and essence of things; thus you can appreciate truths from any source as long as it does not conflict with the definitive notions of Islam.

Why are you trying to introduce concepts of devil worshipping to us? Taoism, mysticism and supposed magical thinking?

It doesn't need to; it filters itself out. There is a checklist for authentic Sufis; one of them is enforcing and abiding by Shari'ah. Without that, these imposters are easy to expose.

That doesn't hold much merit coming from you.

Kochagasht is probably one of those Parchamis from Kabul living in the west. I know hundreds of them. Even if they smell the fart of a secular Western intellectual they suddenly feel this moral obligation to preech the ghospel to the forsaken poor believing souls.
