I don't know what you mean by institutionalized religion.

Institutionalized Religion is formed by a sect, meaning it is not limitless, and it is closed.

well that's probably more due to self affirmation than actual clarity.

you can have faith if you want to; and that is your right

thanks but that doesn't change the other absurdity in the terms and rhetoric you used. You can't clearly and succinctly define them. You may as well be talking about a puff of smoke; metaphorically speaking.

considering most of us are muslim, you are probably not going to find the answer you are looking for. islam is institutionalized because it has set laws and principles that are basically written in stone and follows a tradition that is not guesswork but based on the same text from the first to the last. there is no place for any arcane mysticism in our religion.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

i respect the fact that your faith gives you insights which I don't have, that doesn't mean that i believe those insights are valid for an infidel such as myself

                          ughh what?

the point was that there is no silly mystical aspect of islam as it is accessible to all and the "source material" is all the same.

frankly my dear, no one gives a damn what you believe.
