this is not guidance, it's brainwashing. this is how you raise kids who will grow up and be willing to bomb cities but not have the decency to pause and help someone cross the street. because no one taught them how to be decent human beings.

If Manzareh ACTUALLY STUDIED Islam ....not just mindlessly parrot everything someone told him

He'd know Islam is FITRAH i.e. apart of the Natural disposition of MOST humans; what this means is that humans have an in built concept of how to behave, it only society that sways them in other ways.

This is the Islamic Cosmology of human moral behavior. This guy doesn't know the first thing about Deen.

You want to talk about brainwashing, I'll tell you what brainwashing is; its when a girl brought up in a Islamic household that moves to Canada then subsequently brainwashed that a baby which is brought up in an Islamic manner is inevitably going to be taught and be willing to blow up city's, this is real brainwashing and your a weak minded individual that soaks up what is fed through mainstream propaganda. As a Muslim I'm proud to see that picture, I think it's cute..brainwashed individuals see a 1 year old terrorist. Shame on you and shame on your pathetic upbringing which has only taught you how to be a close minded naive bigot.

If you studied life not mindlessly parroting what you learn in books it would be plain to see you have an obligation as a parent to teach your children about deen, there is no way you will be able to convince any same person otherwise. My conclusion is you don't know the first thing about life. Get out and experience it.

if you were capable of processing what i am trying to clarify, we wouldn't be having this conversation. i don't expect you to understand something that you have never had the pleasure of encountering in your life time. as for my shamelessness, lucky for you, i would be rotting in my own grave, not yours.

Saying I'm not capable of processing what you trying to clarify is a weak attempt to defend yourself of bring brainwashed. It's pretty clear what you are TRYING to clarify in regards to people teaching there kids Islam or dressing them up in Islamic dress. You see that picture and automatically assume the girl will grow up and be willing to bomb whole cities. What a ridiculous point you were trying to clarify, next time try harder.

Lucky for me you will be rotting in your grave and unlucky for me to come across such disgusting naivety on a forum.

Uh, OK, explain Director of the NIH, Francis Collins MD PHD

                    http://www.nih.gov/about/director/directorbio.htm

                    Here is his text:

                    http://www.amazon.com/The-Language-G.../dp/1416542744

His single example shows that this study, which I am combing through ignores confounders. It is not by any means a gold standard randomized control trial. The notion is to demonstrate a correlation between low intelligence and religion and Toramana instead is attempting to insinuate two way causality.

The reality is that social strata and a host of other factors influence where religion is most often practiced and how it is practiced.

It would be like noting that the sons of farmers in rural America are less likely to be Harvard Law graduates than the sons of doctors, lawyers and urban/suburban folks. Insinuating inherent potential or lack thereof in either the son of the farmer or the son of the urban/suburban person ignores a series of confounders.

According to you everything in life is harram and should be viewed suspiciously; that doesn't lead to much experiencing on your part. This response is a perfect example of your ignorance and your bitterness and resentment of those who knows more than you do in LIFE as well as its various aspects so you lash out blindly; Islamic parenting is required BUT only because of social influences deter people from their Fitrah. This doesn't mean people according to Islam lack an internal navigation system.

Your angst, your anxiety and your defensiveness are all just born out of fear and insecurity; you lack true Iman,

This is not directed toward you, but all.

First of all, in the Quran, Allah loves those who strive to fight for his cause. Be it oppressors, people who drove people's from their homes and tyranny. He loves them over those who sit at home (dozens of Quranic verses as sources)(everyday practicing Muslims: praying, studying worldy knowledge etc. . .) so basically there's nothing wrong with that first picture.

Second, the video of the boy's speech was in par or better than the other parrot--Malala Yousafzai. The story of the massacre of the Prophet's family is tragic, and heart warming. Muslims killing Muslims, definitely, the tragic endings of the Prophet's family proofs that majority of Muslims don't consider other Muslims as brothers and sisters. And I also weep because of this failure of an ummah, and Muhammad's 23 years of spreading God's commandment of entering paradise and living righteously were in vain.

Back to Malala. You don't need 1 pencil, 1 notebook, and 1 teacher to become educated. The former two and books is sufficient enough to be an autodidact. A teacher only holds you back from your desires. Bringing you down, and are puppets to the governments curriculum of an education.

Lastly, the only thing a degree is good for is to wipe someone else's a$$. It shows others that you are fully subordinated and will obey orders. A library is better than any university. The books and education are all free, and up to the individual to pick them up and learn.

The whole educational system needs to be remodified.

So I guess we didn't really need Prophets they were holding us back; all we need is just ourselves and whatever we can manufacture in our own minds.

That's not what I said. Unless in your own mind you believe teachers are the Prophets of God (which they are not).

Learn to read better. Your a specialist in twisting statements around.

All you need now, with the absence of a Prophet and Khalifah, is a willing to learn with another fellow student will be beneficial.

The library is filled with every religious books written down, not to mention the copious amount of non-fiction. This all available for free, instead of buying your way to a degree with a massive amount of loan money with interest hanging in your back.

this has nothing to do with malala. to reach a conclusion after understanding something and to be dragged and dropped to the point of that understanding are two different things. there is nothing wrong with teaching your child about your religion but if a kid can't stand up on his own feet and you have it laying on a praying mat, you are afraid that unless you enforce those beliefs on them from that young age, they will grow up not being interested or wandering off. does that child know what a massacre is? has he seen one or is he aware of how one affects a society?? does he know what a society is?? does he know how a massacre is caused or how it can be prevented?? no. but he can cry about it in front of 1000s of people while everyone praises him for it. how does that contribute to the goodness of a society?? that well of goodness has to be built inside you. for that, you have to understand yourself and others around you well. you can't do that if you have never had the opportunity to learn the basics of life.
and you as well as lots of other people out there have this habit of talking alot about things and not having the slightest clue as to what they actually mean. you say degrees are useless and blah blah blah but then you also spend a good amount of your time complaining about how you find it difficult to find or keep a job or how people only care for those whose pockets are full. pick and freaking choose, okay?? if you don't want or care for a degree, acknowledge the fact that that decision places you on a certain position and scale in society. if you can't handle being in that position, go get the damn degree. don't just sit there and complain.
you don't need pens, pencils or teachers to be educated, you need an open mind. with the resources that we are surrounded with in the west, education happens around us. we just have to be willing to give new and different ideas a chance. don't just shun them.
