i thought he was more flexible about leaving prayers. he was the one who said no one will become murtad by just leaving prayers.

i will spare you the dread and leave that as the conclusion. I don't have time for this mindless gibberish.

It doesn't necessarily have to be in a mosque.
women do it at home and men can do it at a mosque
and im sorry? I dont get the second question about falling asleep

Am ashamed to admit being stuck at 3 or 4 prayers for years. May Allah (swt) give me and all of us hidayah to not miss any prayers.

Sometimes even one prayer a day when done properly is better than 5. The real struggle is to be fully present during the prayer and silencing the mind from going all over the place with useless thoughts.

I prayed for the first time this year the other during during a funeral procession. It feels good to pray, but remember, just because you go through the motions don't mean it counts all the time.

Who is he to bring about such commandment?

I doubt Imam Abu Hanifa said such a thing. Prayer is a personal thing wether done alone or in congregation. I have never heard of anyone being killed for not praying in the whole Islamic history.

One thing also about prayer for me personally, is that when I do pray in the zone, my little heart starts weeping

And if you aren't talking about dua then no. You cannot pray (namaaz) while you lie in bed.
