why do you think that is?? do you think you could be an iranian citizen and reply " i don't know, what exactly do you mean by religious belief.."?? do you think you would be allowed that sort of ignorance or freedom to choose one that you prefer?? you would be brainwashed like a robot and forced to fake tears when figures like khomeni and sadam die.

i don't because i don't like living in a country that wants to be in charge of deciding what MY religion is going to be.

badlun said that he doesn't like the idea of politics mixing with religion. you said, countries that don't enforce religion produce criminals and what not. i said, countries that force religion produce khomenies..

your persistent desire to find criticism of me, is too emotional and leads you off kilter to why and what i say.
find an equilibrium for your mind and your emotions before trying to converse with me.

do you deny that the western world has issues such as what i put forward?

you have this habit. you like arguing but when someone points out something to you that you don't like, you start whining like a five year old about how you are being criticized. i can tell when a person is genuinely hurt or when one is faking it to manipulate me in to feeling guilty or bad for them. when you fake it, i will say mean things to hurt you and it will have nothing to do with anything other than the fact that you are purposely trying to manipulate me. okay??

we did not reach a conclusion to what i had said, why are we (or you) changing the subject?? no, i don't think that the west does not have the issues that you listed, yes i do think that they are not related to the absence of religious enforcement by the state.
not believing in a superior form of being other than one's self or being obsessed with wanting every other human being on the surface of earth to believe in your version of religion or God is just as harmful to a society if not more.

it appears to have passed over your head, that a thread is a continuum that can lead, due to comments, in many directions.
if you have a criticism that is valid to ones comment, go ahead. when you just start picking due to your need to find something to pick at, then this lack of intellectual input will be highlighted.

version one: come back to me when you have developed the ability to tolerate opinions other than your own. good night.

version two: let me know when you have developed the maturity to engage in a conversation with out the constant need for bringing forward your sore ass to be kicked (as a means for recuse and distraction) , every time you run out of things to say.

Faye, you never know. Perhaps an angel of Allah (who controls sky above Iran) would throw down a citizenship card to you if you move to Iran.

The Western world does have all the problems you mentioned and rest of the world has some of these problems as well. I think its to the nature of the Capitalist system being based on money and greed. Now it is more difficult for the Western countries as their companies have outsourced manufacturing to China and there are far fewer jobs in the West...decreasing jobs all the time.

But the Western world is still better to live in than rest of the world.

khomeini was produced because the country didn't force religion..
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
