Yes I 100% agree that dress is a choice. If a woman really feels that she may take Hijab and her this decision is not imposed on him by her parents, family, environment , religion or education and she does this because of her own sweet will then this is her democratic choice and do whatever she wants.

I said the same thing in other words above. My main point is that dress is part of culture and climate, occasion, place etc should be the determining factors not religion or traditions. Men also cover their bodies except face. But imposing a special kind of dress on woman by religion etc is what I oppose.

Also I do not claim that Hijab is the only factor behind the illiteracy or backwardness of women in general or Pashtun women in particular. Definitely there are many reasons but Hijab is one of the reasons as because of mobility issues women cannot get access to educational institutions specially schools in far flung areas and universities.

Some of my approaches like on hijab may not be liked by some one and when we do not like something we ask for arguments or proofs and try to belittle the opponent by cheap words. All my proofs are the proofs of secularism to separate religion from politics and culture or society.

For me dress is not part of religion and thats all. Dress is your choice. In winter we put one kind of dress in summer another. On beaches we have one kind of dress and in bedrooms another kind.

I do not want to give my proofs from religion as I do not consider dress to be its part. My proof is common sense to have the dress what suits you and what you need and it is the same for both men and women. Women should not have any special kind of dress by means of which she is restricted and not allowed to move around freely. Do you think the shuttle cocks burqas is an act of piety!

Even then, your cliam that Hijab is a factor AT ALL, is wrong since you said yourself the exceptions exist. If something breaks those assumptions it means the argument does not hold

If you feel belittled it is because no one likes someone who speaks about stuff without any knowledge, Saying "proofs of secularism"; well secularism has no proofs either, so the claim is circular and merely a rant.

religion acts as cultural and social force, so there can never be any separation between religion, culture and society in the full sense, unless people stop believing in religion entirely. This is common sense. . As you said we have different clothes for different situations; for women wearing hijab is the practice they have for the public environment; none of these women wear hijab in their bedroom or in their private areas. So even by common sense your argument is wrong because these are apart of human and social life too.

If you refuse to show the evidence for your arguments .....then that only demonstrates that you're aware of their own defects and merely want to give rhetoric not facts

Please try to understand the difference between natural sciences and social sciences. Life and social phenomenon is not mathematics, chemistry or physics where 2 plus 2 will be always 4 and h2 and o will always make water.

Hijab is a social problem and not a mathematical or scientific issue with no exceptions. There can be a naked women or kuchis as mentioned above who will be illiterate and there can be a shuttle cock burqa woman who may win Nobel prize but generally hijab is one of the cause of illiteracy and backwardness of women.

Women in the developed world do not use hijab and hence educated while Pashtun women because(one factor) of hijab cannot move freely to go to schools and universities because ether are told that their due place is grave or home.

I understand the difference, but logic does not just apply for mathematics or physics. Logic applies in truth values as well, and anyone who makes a cliam about social events, processes phenomena etc. which is not supported by any factual information, is making a logically incorrect claim.

Saying "generally" is a false argument; Because there are 3-4 Million Pashtun women who are Kuchi, who can't read and do not cover in burqas or hijab. So the argument based on generality is not supported by facts.

Let us hypothesize that the Illiterate women are also the women who wear hijab. Even if we say this THIS STILL DOES NOT PROVE that Hijab is the reason why they are illiterate. ...why? Because this is called FALSE CAUSATION, it is the belief that because two things exist in tandem to each other that ONE caused the other.

And this is used in Social Sciences too; because Social Sciences apply Statistics and in Statistics we have what is called HYPOTHESIS TESTING, this tests the outcome of something based on controlled factors. Since you admit that there are women who don't cover who are illiterate and women who do cover who are gifted. This means the hypothesis you present is an incorrect hypothesis.

So Badlun you are wrong ...in logic, in social science in every aspect of this argument .....So Badlun I request you ...since you are such an advocate of education,, which I am too, PLEASE GO EDUCATE YOURSELF ...then talk.

I am confused because your sentence ended with three exclamation marks but was formulated like a question.
