It is not permissible for those who are not qualified to explain the Qur'an.

As for Wahhabism/Salafism, it is a misguided sect whose beliefs and practices deviate from traditional Islam.

Sufism (Tasawwuf) is a science (`ilm) within Islam. It has always been part of the curriculum of madrasas and institutions all over the Muslim world. The greatest scholars of Islam were/are Sufis. Antagonism to Sufism rose with the rise of the Wahhabi sect.

Sufism is ingrained in the practice of Islam of Muslims everywhere, including Afghanistan. One shouldn't name oneself after Afghanistan if one is opposed to what defines Afghanistan (you should listen to some of the talks and read some of the books at the link in your very signature before speaking). And more importantly, one shouldn't speak on matters without knowledge.

Anyone who is against Sufism is effectively against the way of Islam as practiced in Afghanistan and is not apart of Afghan society.

As much as I dislike Salafi/Wahabi extremist doctrine, I'd like to also point out that many many Sufis are practitioners of occultist mysticism heavily influenced by pagan elements. You can not deny the worship of graves, amirs, saints, pirs, fakeers, babas etc. and their false claims to having powers which allows them to heal and win favors with Allah swt.

Many Sufis are as disgusting as the Salafi/Wahabi extremists. Both pervert the religion for their own selfish, egotistical and political means.

I reject both of them as i see them today, they are nothing more than bunch of extremists, they both does not follow the way Islam has developped as i quote here the beloved messenger of Allah (pbuh) it is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Islam initiated as something strange, and it would revert to its (old position) of being strange. so good tidings for the stranger. (Book #001, Hadith #0270) Sahih Muslim.

              And we are strangers...Ghuraabaa

yes you're the strangers but not the way the hadith means it, your version of Islam is strange to Muhammad(saw).

Muhammad(saw) would call you devils for suicide bombs

Mu'tazilah are the ones who developed all the science and intellectual development of the Golden Age of Islam that you always say inspired you. In fact I saw you say that your role model was Ibn Haytham, who was a Mu'tazilah scholar.

Mu'tazilah were powerful and they didn't need suicide bombs to make kufar fear them. Only cowards needed that.

hahah I guess you never read about Jabir Ibn Hayyan either

he was a student of Greek Philosophy ......just like the Mu'tazilah

Jābir professes to draw his inspiration from earlier writers, legendary and historic, on the subject.[20] In his writings, Jābir pays tribute to Egyptian and Greek alchemists Zosimos, Democritus, Hermes Trismegistus, Agathodaimon, but also Plato, Aristotle, Galen, Pythagoras, and Socrates as well as the commentators Alexander of Aphrodisias Simplicius, Porphyry and others.[10] A huge pseudo-epigraphic literature of alchemical books was composed in Arabic, among which the names of Persian authors also appear like Jāmāsb, Ostanes, Mani, testifying that alchemy-like operations on metals and other substances were also practiced in Persia. The great number of Persian technical names (zaybaq = mercury, nošāder = sal-ammoniac) also corroborates the idea of an important Iranian root of medieval alchemy.[21] Ibn al-Nadim reports a dialogue between Aristotle and Ostanes, the Persian alchemist of Achaemenid era, which is in Jabirian corpus under the title of Kitab Musahhaha Aristutalis.[22] Ruska had suggested that the Sasanian medical schools played an important role in the spread of interest in alchemy.[21] He emphasizes the long history of alchemy, "whose origin is Arius ... the first man who applied the first experiment on the [philosopher's] stone... and he declares that man possesses the ability to imitate the workings of Nature" (Nasr, Seyyed Hussein, Science and Civilization of Islam).

ahhaa so you admire another Mu'tazilah and didn't even know it. Come, tell me all your favorite scientists and I can prove to you they were Mu'tazilayeen

Science in Islamic world = the work of Mu'tazilah

I also like Plato and Socrates.....what is wrong with them, they were the first among them who believed in the oneness of God.

Greek Philosophy is harram according to Taliban

no Socrates and Plato never mentioned whether or not God was one or many, they just said there is a Supreme Consciousness but they never rejected polytheism

They completely rejected the belief in many gods and said there can't be more than one.
