studies of the long term effects of marijuana use seem to conclude -problem, no problem, problem, no problem...the judge is still out on that, from what i have seen. the last results of a study i saw, said that there was not a long term effect and that stoned folk can give more creative answers to questions.

anyway scimitar, i thought you were into grunge and horror movies. rap is repetitively negative, in general, i agree. but so was grunge and a lot of heavy m was aggro but possible less negative than rap. but the rap comes from african americans, the ghettoes and people who have lived rough and tough lives.
mind you i liked some of all of those music genres.

yeah but come on, horror movies are entertainment; kids actually try to imitate and copy rappers looking at them as role models. these rappers try to teach kids its cool to degrade women, to do drugs, to steal to gamble and so on. Now I'm not saying rock/metal always promote a positive message, but there is more intelligent rock music than rap music bar some Political Hip Hop artists like Immortal Technique and Naj-One or KRS-ONE/

and besides the only reason I even brought this up was because Khushal mde some snide comment about me listening to metal as if that had ANYTHING to do with the topic; So I reciprocated by showing him that his interest in rap would be more indicative of absurdity than anything.
