Okay so she doesn't deserve it. Not for being a woman or Allah's sake but for being only 12. I have no idea why I read 12 as 17. Her parents should be jailed for sending out a 12 year old alone for shopping in a country such as Pakistan.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

^ I use to go shopping alone as a kid when I was 8-9 in saudi arabia, I use to walk a good 1-2 km to get to the store. I think parents in those countries dont really care much.

^ do you know of any country in the world where it's considered alright for a 12 year old female to go shopping alone?

Don't mess with Afghans, you people didn't know what islam was, what morality was,we thought you not to worship cows, eat them and have their meat to survive,we taught you how to talk, how to be a human, and today you vomit such words.

InshaAllah, you country will get what it deserves....

Yes in whole world it is normal, in belgium I see sometimes 6-7 year olds playing outside when its 21:00 hours. I worked at a supermarket and sometimes I worked till 21:00 hours and I saw some litel girls and boys rush and buy candy before the shop closed. And the majority of the children were the muslim immigrant children from Moroco and Turkey.....

Pakistan didn't had any war but it's like total mess, sometimes I wonder what it would look like if they had war for 40 years like Afghanistan :S

I refuse to respond to the childish posts of some terrorists who don't know what they are saying. I described a thought process which is detrimental to Afghan-Pakistani friendship. I did not condone the thought process.

And its not just the Pakistanis problem who want the Afghans to do what they want them to. Afghans blame Pakistan for everything. Of course Pakistan's mistakes have to do a lot with that.

I am surprised the Mullah crowd has changed tactics and begun to insult Pakistan to score points with Afghan Nationalists by voicing popular sentiment.

^ when a country has all that in extreme levels, there is no hope. I am just wondering how can a country get out of this mess? I dont think there is a way to be honest.
Actually it somewhat surprising. With the high number of people that hate and our own problems ranging from what you just referred to, we should have been wiped out years ago.

India has ten times our population and 2 times more men in its armed forces.

Of course it takes guts to admit our situation is worse than India. Yet our very survival is a truly remarkable feat.

As far as getting out of the mess is concerned we tried to replace all of the things you described with a sense of Nationalism. But its virtually

I agree with you actually. Afghanistan has gone through a lot. The Afghan people have remarkable courage and will to face off against the odds.

And there isn't a single independence movement in Afghanistan. All the hatred between tajik hazara uzbek and Pashtun in its place there isn't a single independence movement.

It goes on to explain that loyalty to their state, their Nation is not in Pakistani blood like it is in the blood of Afghans. I worked for a Nationalist organization in the past. But to enforce nationalism you need to have wider support. We Pakistanis are much too divided.

you can't compare Pakistan to Australia. Buying a slushy across the street is not same as shoping there. It's not like there hasn't been 100 cases of children being kidnaped and stuffed with drugs, sold off or butchered for their body organs for over 30 years to say the least.
Protecting a child is a parent's first responsibility. If you don't have the time for it then don't have children.

True, but today pakistan looks like at it's worst, at least from outside. Things seem to be getting worse and worse there in every way. Also dont forget that pakistan has been broken once (1971 Bangladesh) so dont let the nationalism fool you that country can not be broken once more. All the things I have mentioned in my last post, when they are at a boiling point, any thing can happen then

btw, regarding your first post "Pakistanis are born and bred to view Afghans as slaves (kind of true when you look at how we don't want afghanistan to have Indian embassies. Isn't it for Afghans to decide?)"

This is wrong, not all pakistanis think like that, It's only the (ISI) supporters who may have that view. In my view any one who supports ISI is part of the problem, because they have created the mess, which we are dealing with in the region.

^Actually Ghandi did a good job to separate those Punjabis from them, I bet if they were together whith India whole of India would be a mess like Pakistan is.

I agree with you that #ISI is part of the problem but I will say it is definitely not the whole part of the problem. And plus all this ISI did this or that is wild speculation. How do we know what they did? We liberals love to put the blame squarely for everything that has gone wrong today on Zia Ul Haq, the ISI and the armies doorstep.

For example Zia wasn't the only Islamist in town. What about Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who declared all Ahmadi's kaffir? They couldn't even come to offices you know? He banned drinking for everyone... that wasn't even done during Zia's time when minorities at least had the right to drink... why should our beliefs be imposed on others right?

This is collectively our fault. The politicians severe corruption is used as an excuse by each general to take power. I mean something must be wrong with the kind of democracy we have which caused 80% of populace to give confidence vote to Musharraf in his first year?

I am sure if the army isn't around we will just stand naked and let everyone do us. But of course we must accept its failures too. We must accept its failure to defend Pak in 71, we must accept its failure in Siachen conflict where we lost huge swathes of territory to India. We must acknowledge that its presence in Balochistan, East Pakistan and recently in FATA & KP has worsened the situation rather than improve it. Not a single enemy commander has been slain.

The only question is, is there anyone else to defend Pakistan then?

Errr... actually there are 30 Million Punjabis in India too... so I have no understanding of where your logic actually from.

But you have displayed the average mindset of the average racist who somehow blames the Pakistani... the Punjabi specifically for all the problems.
This 'race' problem and the idea that only our race is good in our countries, in this case Pashtuns it makes it harder for us to develop our lands.

I guess Khalsawhoever will respond to this post... oye he's blaming you guys for all the problems in India... I doubt thats something a proud Sikh wants to hear...
