It's the interpretation that you put to it that is Wahhbi, the Wahhabis too claim they "strictly follow" the Qur'an; but where in the Qur'an or ahadith is suicide bombing around Muslims acceptable? I never saw one hadith that says so. Where does the Qur'an say you can physically coerce women to wear burqas? Nowhere, but you seem that is ok and "proper" Shari'ah. sure I'm sure many people throw out the Wahhabi card, but just because someone incorrectly uses the Wahhabi card against others doesn't mean there isn't legitimate applications of the term
