Humanity is part of Islam. Yes, not the purpose of Islam. As i said Islam's purpose is to focus on yourself before humanity, just because you cant understand it doesnt mean it doesnt make sence. Infact you dont make sense, and i can foresee were this convo may be leading to, let me cut to the chase. Tell me, why does Allah need us to serve humanity? why doesnt he do it himself?

When you mentioned terrorists you didnt mention bombing random market places and killing fellow Muslims.

Its almost as if people like you support the Kufaar invading our homelands.

if serving humanity is not the purpose of Islam then what is the point of Islam? why do people give dawah, why do people give charity? why was Islam even revealed? you dont make sense at all.

Yes focusing on yourself is first and major very important part, but that doesn't mean we dont contribute to humanity positively, It is part of Islam to do this. Again get your basics right

Humanism is a concocted belief by materialists and the implemention of such ideas are only at the disposal of the powerful who can conveniently excuse themselves from this made belief system when ever they like. This hypocrisy is exposed when states that claim to be Secular Humanist butcher millions in that they consider necessary collateral. The application of cost benefit analysis of these states where one life or more sacrificed for the greater good, the end justifies the means, Heroshima, Nagasaki, Iraq, Afghanistan etc. exposes this fallacious concept.

No one human is alike or their society, so how does one decide which is more human than the other?

you guys are just making too much out of this term, the guy in the video is serving humans regardless of faith, color, ethnicity, how is that wrong? This is what he means to begin with when he says humanity , he never even said that Islam was below humanity. The title of the thread and video are wrong

Sorry brother I didnt watch the video. I went by the title. Regardless of what Sattar Edhi says, without religion which establishes that existence has purpose (therefore human life and human beings are important) the argument for "humanism" can not stand. Humanity is the by-product of religion since it is religion that gave value to human life.

Is the following according to humanity?

“And if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with the orphan girls then marry (other) women of your choice, two or three, or four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one or (slaves) that your right hands possess. That is nearer to prevent you from doing injustice”

                  [al-Nisa’ 4:3]

"The Book of Allaah indicates that the sexual relationships that are permitted are only of two types, either marriage or those (women slaves) whom one’s right hand possesses.

                  Al-Umm, 5/43.

The wife has no right to object to her husband owning female slaves or to his having intercourse with them."

"Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri that while he was sitting with Allah's messenger we said, "Oh Allah's messenger, we got female captives as our booty, and we are interested in their prices, what is your opinion about coitus interruptus?" The prophet said, "Do you really do that? It is better for you not to do it. No soul that which Allah has destined to exist, but will surely come into existence. SAHIH BUKHARI - VOLUME 3, #432"

"Abu Said al-Khudri said: "The apostle of Allah sent a military expedition to Awtas on the occasion of the battle of Hunain. They met their enemy and fought with them. They defeated them and took them captives. Some of the Companions of the apostle of Allah were reluctant to have intercourse with the female captives in the presence of their husbands who were unbelievers. So Allah, the Exalted, sent down the Quranic verse, "And all married women (are forbidden) unto you save those (captives) whom your right hands possess". That is to say, they are lawful for them when they complete their waiting period." [The Quran verse is 4:24].SUNAN OF ABU DAWUD, VOLUME 2, # 2150,SAHIH MUSLIM, VOLUME 2, #3432 "

Look up Martin Heidegger and Friedrich Nietzsche, your confusion will disappear.
