The previous question was left unanswered because it appears that the question was rather difficult.

But inshaa allah, the article posted in the previous post by me, should help us out to learn more about the subject.

In the meanwhile, I would like to continue by posing a new question. This question should be easier. But I am going to making it hard by adding sub-questions to it. In other words, the following question is actually multiple questions regarding the same matter.

What is Usool ul Fiqh?

A: explain what Fiqh means?
B: What does Fiqh mean in Islam?
C: What is Usool ul Fiqh?
D: What is Fiqh based on? In other words, what sources do we use to establish fiqh?
For Bonus points: Name at least 4 major figures in Islam attributed to the sciences of fiqh.

Go on and find a few books, sift through the content and trust me, you will find the answers for the questions I pose within a half an hour max.
