  • Apostasy and its Punishment(New)

Okay Guys, I will unlock this topic however, listen to me carefully when I say this, any insults under disguise, or name-calling will result in this thread being locked until further notice. I am giving you guys one more chance, Please stay on topic and discuss the subject on hand with proof and/or valid points. Lets not derail the thread and create all sort of mumble jumble in here.

I hope you guys understand, we need to make sure things are as professional as possible.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

    Sangar,

could you please tell us why the punishment of apostasy does not affect you?
Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.

[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.

Because, first off all, apostasy is tested in a shari'i court of law. Second you have to be a muslim to become an apostate. Meaning you have to have full knowledge to be considered a muslim who knowingly leaves Islam. Since I was a jaahil and ignorant of Islam, how can I fall under the ruling of apostasy when I didn't even know the basic principles of Islamic monotheism?

I did not apostate from the religion to preach anti-Islamic stuff like most apostates who have been convicted have done.

Sangar, do you agree with this:

            Admn khan

Thanks for re opening the thread.

Closing any thread is not the solution. The solution is to edit the objectionable parts if any. To correct not to kill hahaaaaa

Such kinds of controversial topics will always bring some heat but we may let it continue as the purpose of the site is participation and no one takes part in dull topics, controversies are always interesting and creative and great opportunities to learn and share.

I am really dumbfounded with Sangar's logic to escape from punishment.

Where do these people draw the line with their own interpretation?!?

I don't agree with the youtube clip; however, it clearly says that they should be killed. I want to know where did Sangar get his logic to escape punishment.

As Momin said please clarify where these words are your own approach to the issue of apostacy or you have some source for it. Where in Quran or Sunna it is said what you describe.

As I referred to your own message again and again you said I was not really a Muslim and then I accepted islam again. This is pure apostacy. Please clarify it is not and its punishment is not killing.

What if a Muslim converts to Buddaism, but decides to live in the Mountains of Tibet for the rest of his life. Would he be executed/Killed for it or not?

Sangar, basically is stating the former Muslims spread hatred about Islam and on this grounds, they must be killed to prevent future problems for the Ummah, but however, what if the individual lives isolated from the world, on what ground would you execute him/her.

                  Kind Regards

What if the 'hatred' they are spreading is simply pointing out that Islam murders people that leave the religion?

Well, They follow a Interpretation, Quran as i have pointed out before, says forgive them as its their own loss, no punishment is described nor implimented.

The Arguement is, Former Muslims bad mouthing Islam,So my question is, what if the Person goes into isolation and shows no harm to Muslims, Would people such as Sangar, Abu Baker, Iqilab and Mukhkasis support the death of that particular individual.

                      Regards

What I find ironic in Sangar's proposition is that they cannot killed meddle in the affairs of those who live in the West.

Most of the people who openly leave Islam don't do it while they live in the so-called Muslim countries. They leave openly leave when they live in the West. And, to top it off, they abuse Islam while in the West.

So, this brings huge contradiction. It just goes to show that this interpretation is totally false and totally out of line.

I would like for someone to upload Ibn Taymiyyah (ra)'s book.

And my *question* is what if they 'bad mouth' Islam by pointing out 100% *true* facts, like the murder of people that leave the faith? Do you advocate killing people for being honest, even if it shows the dark side of Islam?

I totally agree with you. I would give you an infinite numbers of "thanks" for this post if I could.

In the case of Sangar, I am pretty sure that he feels happy that he lives in the West. Otherwise, his derriere would have been toast. Or, should I say non-existent?

                            It is really sad.
