Where is your source that verifies what you have stated above?

What happened to the rest of my post, that was the basis of my conclusion.
You only quoted my conclusion.
So you are saying that when we forbid people from following another religion we are not playing Allah's role when Allah Himself has said that it is up to Him who believes and who does not?
What you are proposing is contradicting the Holy Quran. To forbid preaching we are not allowing people to choose. We are choosing for them.Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:
[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.
[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.

Brother,,, yes we are a strong race.... but its now because of our attitude and even the attitude of people i see here we are becoming weaker.... we are so threatened and insecure........loss of trust and faith in Allah and our selves is making us do what u r talking about....thinking that we can easity go astray by only some one's preaching...Originally posted by StrategistMaseed View PostIf pashtuns are one of the strongest races on this earth, they why are we easily misled, and why do we kill our own for others so easily? that is not a strong character.
i dont understand how are we gonna reform ourselves and our people when we are not united amongst ourselves.....
thats the trait we have, fighting with each other......we wont even be able to face our enemy...
its suppose to be a healthy debate, the outcome of which has to acceptable by allll........no personal attacks and remarks at people...and this is what is happeninghere... we have to learn to respect people's view and try to see their point from their perspective....
here people just seem to catch words and pounce.....

^ It's not about fighting each other, have we forgotten what happened to Christians of Nurestan (former Kafiristan)? You think Taliban will spare 'Amriki kuffar' in Afghanistan? Gone are the days when Afghanistan could be accepting of every religion and gone are the days where respect in Afghanistan was based on your character; Not on your religion and nor on your race! What worries me the most is that even if these people get true teaching of Islam, because they will be offered a prosperous future as a Christian they might convert to Christianity, just to fight their poverty. And there goes USA again with it's so called 'equal rights'. Yeah, right.
Honey, for the sake of smartness start reading more comments because this question has been asked a million times and answered a million times as well. And once again; We only preach Islam in West to those who wish to know about Islam and who out of their own wish come to our mosques. We haven't invaded these Western countries in name of Islam and start preaching them Islam, have we? Unlike these people who invaded Iraq and Afghanistan in name of democracy, killed it's civilians and also gather the guts to preach their religion in our land! Afghanistan is a Islamic nation, not a democratic.Originally posted by persiangirlI don't understand how we preach Islam in the west yet we do not allow them to preach theirs in our land?
Since you believe in Allah Subhana Wa Tallah's wording oh so much anyway, then do you mind answering this repetitive question of mine?; In Quran-e-Sharif it's said that Jews and Christians both are following books sent by Allah Subhana Wa Tallah (the bible and Torah) and according to the Quran-e-Sharif Hazrat Isa Alaisalam has told the Christians that after Christianity another religion will come (Islam) and a last messenger of God (prophet Muhammad PBUH) will follow after him. Now, where in the bible can we find that verse told by Hazrat Isa Alaisalam? Or has Hazrat Isa Alaisalam never said those things and nor, according to the Quran-e-Sharif, are Christians and Jews following books sent by our Creator?Originally posted by MeemWawMeemNoon View PostAllah says in the Holy Quran that we can choose whichever path we want. Now how do we choose that? Perhaps someone preaches it to us?Gar Jahanum Sakhtam Ferdaws Ham Mesazamat

Which of Helen Thomas' comments killed millions? If you don't feel it is safe to quote the actual comment, feel free to link to it.Originally posted by akbarkhan View PostKiddy, millions of Palastinians have died and are dying!!!
Yes. One was asked to resign for making offensive public comments. The other made comments in a private meeting. I'm sorry you don't understand the difference.
lol so just because one thing was public and the other in private justifies everything? Infact what Erik Prince said wasn't private, he said that in a meeting.
Different employers. Different agendas. Different ideals. One did not support defaming Israel, and one *did* support bombing Iran.
Even if you want to push this whole 'private' vs 'public' thing, then why was Helen forced to resign over her comment but when McCain was singing 'bomb bomb Iran' in public that was acceptable?
Is that what confuses you? Do you think that 'the west' is one monolithic employer/organization/political party?
Had McCain been a member of the Democratic Party, things would have been quite different.
Double standards!!!
Double standards implies that it is one person judging different events by different standards -- not two completely different circumstances, judged by two different groups, with two different (by self consistent) standards.
Now if the Republican Party and the Hearst Newspapers were the same organization, you might have a point.-------------------------------------------------

Then you *MUST* admit that Islam is, by it's very nature a violation of basic human rights. Muslims have argued time and time again that Islam supports basic human rights, but clearly you are arguing that it does not.Originally posted by Shayesta View PostOn grounds of Islam! I completely agree with Farhan wror, if you are a truly follower of Islam and Quran-e-Sharif then no way you will say 'okay' to preaching of other religions and to approving Muslims changing their religion! In Islam it very clearly stated that if a Muslims converts from Islam, you should try to convert him back to Islam and like that he can seek forgiveness. But when he stays a non-Muslims then a huge punishment is on the list for him, this is not mine or other member's personal willingness; This is Islam!
Interesting the contortions you go through. You are ignoring that sometimes you need to violate the rights of a few, to protect the rights of the many.
Human right my foot! In these people's eyes human right is when Jews were oppressed by Hitler, but what about Jewish oppression against Palestine? Human right is when people make 'offensive' comments about Jews, but what about 'draw prophet (PBUH) Muhammad day'? Human rights is when three thousand people died in 9/11, but what about those millions killed in Iraq? Human right is what these Westerners make of it, you think they give a sh*t about what Muslims are going through?
No, you just support repressing their rights to disagree with Islam. You support murder for people leaving Islam, or expressing an opinion of Islam you do not like.
Same could be said about these Westerners; They offered these Christian-converts a place in West and better lives, while millions of other poor Afghans, who are Muslim, still are waiting for a better tomorrow. These Westerners should keep their human rights to themselves, like someone said we don't go and print the Quran-e-Sharif in English go round people's houses!
You can choose to follow what ever religion you want. It's your human right. That includes *MY* right not to follow your religion, or your neighbors right to change religions daily.
The solution is to educate and root out the extremists trying to infringe on rights -- not simply allow the infringements to go on because it may be costly or hard to defend the rights.
Not only that, when Taliban returns (and I can bet they gonna return to some areas) then you should see the bloodshed in Afghanistan again! And I can bet these people mostly convert for a place in West and I do wish them good lives, but what if in this hope people keep converting to Christianity and they are left to their fates back in Afghanistan? You think those extreme Muslims are gonna spare them?
Education, not terrorism. What happened to Islam being the religion of peace? You are arguing again and again that Islam is a barbaric, uncivilized religion.
We, the Muslims, aren't deciding anything; Allah Subhana Wa Tallah already has. You are supposed to convert a from Islam converted man/woman back to Islam, otherwise he must see a punishment in this lifetime. That's Islam for you, not just Muslims. If Muslims in West decide to leave their religion then I don't give a damn because they are educated enough and know what they are doing, but unfortunately Afghans are very easily fooled and we can't afford to have more fools on our land if we want peace, finally!
Even soldiers have the rights to free speech.
It's not about our, people in this Forum's, views. Afghans are uneducated and since they can't read the Quran-e-Sharif as it hardly is findable in Dari/Pukhto, they take the lies edited in the bible and take that as the truth. I will give you that Afghans should try to contribute Quran-e-Sharif in Dari/Pukhto more often, but still, the soldiers are there to do their tasks (whatever that might be) and not preach Christianity and that also about a bible which God knows how many times it has been edited!
Not sure who you were asking this of.
I remember how when we newly came to West these people were eager to convert Muslims to Christianity, bring us to Church and not to forget those so many crap was told about Christianity that I don't even remember what they said, except for that it didn't match what was said in Islam at all. But except for the Iranians none else fell for it, and even those Iranians did it so they get a quicker visa and guess what? They had to wait the longest for a visa as their sole point was just converting them, LOL. Do you as a Muslim agree that in the bible it is supposed to be written that after Christianity another religion will come that will be the last to be accepted by everyone, which happens to be Islam? Then can you tell me were in the bible you will find that verse while in Quran-e-Sharif the verses are there? Even Westerners admit their bible is edited a thousand times and that's the reason why majority of these people are Atheist, not Christians.
Besides, the prevalence of agnosticism and atheism is related to educational level, and not location.-------------------------------------------------

Some people's way is to exercise their human right of free speech. As long as you don't infringe on that, you ought to be fine.Originally posted by akbarkhan View PostTo you your way, and to me mine.-------------------------------------------------

Get used to it. Ahkbarkhans' complete argument is that it is up to you to verify what he says -- he is of the opinion that he can infallibly dictate religious doctrine -- it is reality that is wrong, not him.Originally posted by MeemWawMeemNoon View PostMaybe your scholars think like this.
What I find mind boggling is that you are not even able to prove your stance. At least do that much. If I am stubborn after you have presented and proven your case then attack me, but don't attack me until you have presented your case.-------------------------------------------------
