Nurzai,
Wait a second - from what do you call my comments "rabidly pro American"?
Yes, I am an atheist - I am being honest with you and not hiding it.
But from where do you conclude that I am "rabidly pro American"?
I have shown in my comments that I have criticized some policies of the US govt, but I have also mentioned that I feel some outsiders came into the US and tried to steer their govt into doing certain things which were not the tendency of most Americans.
And these outsiders imposed this agenda, because they were fighting for their foreign homelands.
Similarly, local Afghans did not want to see World Trade Center destroyed. But some outsiders came into Afghanistan and steered those in power (Taliban) to help them carry out their agenda. And these outsiders imposed this agenda because they were fighting for their foreign homelands. But most ordinary Afghans did not know such things were happening, nor did they want the 9-11 attacks to happen.
So when I say this, how does it make me "rabidly pro American"?
Nextly, you have seen me debating in the religion forum about science and evolution, etc. Well, I admit, perhaps I should not have entered into that debate, because then people like you will see it as an attack on Islam. But I feel Alchemist is peddling nonsense arguments, so that's why I argued in support of science, which I know to be correct. You must understand that scientific theories like evolution aren't in disagreement with Islam in particular, but rather in disagreement with all religions in general. So I don't see why you have to take it so personally, that this is somehow an attack on Islam.
As I said in another thread - rely upon religion for moral decision-making and guidance, but use technical science when it comes to analyzing the physical world.
I feel you are not adequately exposed to the wider outside world, and this is why you have strange notions about the rest of the world. You should gain more exposure to the rest of the world, instead of being a shut-in who hasn't seen the outside.
Pakistani govt likes such closed-off people, because they are easier to manipulate.

But I currently am residing in what the natives call a "Muslim ghetto" so I rarely see people of such thinking, they tend not to come into this area.
