Again there is a reason why that Saudi cleric states rape of your wife is permitted in Islam, its because there is no evidence to the contrary but evidence for strong coercion into sex if not direct force. Do you honestly believe those women who were taken as slaves by your Prophets companions who then had sex with them did it consensually?

    ‪Raping Women is O K in islam‬‏ - YouTube

nice try with recycling the same fallacy; but

#1 making women feel guilty or reprehensible for not fulfilling their conjugal duties is NOT rape

#2 already disproved your statement about marital rape;you can't come upon your wife like some animal in heat (force).

#3 you cannot make your slave women have sex....as proven

so give up the fallacy ...you're debunked accept it

actually the one who's committing red herring here is you; by assuming that the speakers interpretation is evidence.

you're commiting fallacy called absence of evidence is evidence of absence. even though there is evidence.

regurgitating the same disproved belief is not proof.

Why should I assume your interpretations are correct instead of an orthodox clerics?

        • Why do you ask us why we condemn rape of women? What specifically brought this about? Are you trying to provoke us?

We are aware of the torturous crimes of the US- we only need to remember Abeer Hamza- a young girl who was gang raped by US troops, and then shot to death with the rest of her family. Are you saying Muslims should not condemn this crime? Are you saying they should not take bloody revenge for such terrorism?

In fact, the Taliban arose due to the protection of 2 girls who were raped by a corrupt Mujahideen commander. They then - executed him in broad daylight, and left his remains for all to see- a message to the rest of the criminals. You use a video to say that Islam supports rape when in fact nothing is further from the truth. The video itself proves nothing as rape is not even mentioned. No where is the support of rape mentioned in any hadith, no where does it say women can be raped in any Hadith.

Secondly, Pashtunwali ( a code of life which predates Islam) centers around the protection of women, and her honor. Pashtunwali is also followed by non-Pashtun Afghans in some regards. They too have been influenced by it. Pashtuns will kill for the honor of their women.

Rape is a crime, and Islam strictly prohibits it, as does Pashtunwali. One of the first set of people to be summarily executed by the Taliban were rapists. There is no toleration for such crimes - only Sharia law is the only law that authorizes death for rapists. The Taliban took it a step further and were even more ruthless with rapists.

because I demonstrated evidence for them. where as the last part the cleric mentioned was just his own commentary without a reference.

If you still insist on believing this speaker, then it demonstrates that you're simply bent on trying to believe your claims. which means you're agenda driven.

rape is forbidden in Islam and that has been demonstrated.

Whoever it is, the arguments do not merit replies. The idea that a man can "rape" his wife is absurd. The right to sex is an obvious unspoken agreement in marriage. Using the word "rape" is only an attempt at sensationalizing. It is like describing a wife's use of her husband's money as "theft." In Islam a man is obliged to support his family. Perhaps the Islamophobes and desperate Christian missionaries will cut up another video and title it "Stealing from men is OK in Islam."

                • This redneck resden or Danial, whatever he is thinks that Muslim men force themselves violently on their wives. All Islam is saying is that a man has the right to have sex with his wife.

He is thinking of this from his own societies perspective where the woman has taken the man's role and she is the one that takes the initiative to demand the man for sex. He is confused because he is more comfortable of assuming the woman's role in the relationship.

So I want to know from you guys, do two people, who love each other and are single deserve this kind of barbarity? And what disgust me the most is that these couple's parents themselves had informed the 'Taliban' about their children! 'Tuff' on such parents!

                      I lol'd

May Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala bless those parents and may he forgive their children. Ameen.

                      • Stoning to death was a custom/practiced by the Ancient Israelites, its Jewish by origin, and later adapted their cousins the Arabs. I think its barbaric and medevil.

Stoning women in public infront of the public, having an audience, screeming god is great while you throw rocks on a defenceless women, is pure barbaric.

Why ? You think being married would change one's point of view ?

That's like saying that only black people should give their opinion about racism on black people...
