Alright here i will post some of the basics that i have learned in my Fiqh class and i will keep posting something new every week.

Topic: Islamic way of telling Time

Fajr-Beginning: Dawn
Fajr-end: 10 minutes before Sunrise

Zuhr-Beggining: When sun is in the middle (Noon time)
Zuhr-End: When Shadow doubles

Asr-Beginning: When Shadow Doubles
Asr-End: Sunset

Maghrib-Beginning: 10 minutes after sunset
Maghrib-End: When the redness fades from the Horizon(1 Hour and 10 min after it begins)

Isha-Beginning: When the redness on the horizon completely disappears
Isha-End: Up until Little before Dawn

Topic: Fard and Sunnah of Ghusul (Shower)

Fard:
1. Gargling
2. Put Water until your nose until your nostrils.
3. Put water on your body and make sure that no hair is left dry on your body.

Sunnah:
1. Make intention
2. Wash your hands up till your wrist.
3. Wash your private parts and where ever else the dirt exists.
4. Make Wudu.
5. Pour water on your body 3 times to make sure every part of your body is wet.

Topic: Fard and Sunnah of Wudu (ablution)

Fard:
1. Washing the face from hair of the forehead to the lower portion of the chin; and across from one ear to the other
2. Washing both hands and arms upto the elbows
3. Performing the Masa’h (wiping with wet hands, one fourth of one’s head)
4. Washing both the feet upto the ankles

Sunnah:
1. Saying the Intention (Niyyah)
2. Reciting ‘Bismillah’
3.Washing the hands, three times, upto the wrists
4. Brushing teeth with a tooth-stick (Miswak)
5. Rinsing the mouth, thrice
6. Sniffing water into the nostrils, thrice,
7. Combing (doing Khilal) the beard with the fingers
8. Passing fingers of both hands, against each other, and also passing them through 9. the toes (Khilal of fingers and toes)
9. Washing, each limb, three times
10. Performing the Masa’h once over the whole head
11. Performing the Masa’h of the two ear
12. Performing Ablution (Wudu) in proper order
13. Washing each part, one after the other, without pause, to ensure that no part dries up before the next step.

Title: 8 Conditions in order to perform Salaat

1. Floor has to be clean
2. Body has to be clean
3. Clothes have to be clean
4. Your body needs to be covered. Men have to cover from belly button to knees. Women have to cover from head to toe. The hands and face should be the only thing visible.
5. You have to be facing towards the Qibla
6. Time has to be in
7. Wudu has to be performed
8. You have to have intention(Niyyah)

Title: Four things that bring / increase the Rizq:

a) Staying up in the night for prayers.
b) Excessive Repentance
c) Regular Charity
d) Zikar (Remembrance of ALLAH / God)

Title: Things that Break the Wudu (ablution)

1. Urine, stool or anythings that come out of these paths.
2. Passing out air.
3. If blood or Pus comes out from the wound and it spreads.
4. Vomiting equal to the size of your mouth.
5. Falling asleep while leaning on the wall, etc.
6. Losing conscious due to any type of Drugs.
7. Fainting.
8. Insanity.
9. Laughing in Salaat so loud that your neighbor hears or sees your teeth.
